The benefit to any style of standing seam system is that the fasteners that hold the metal sheeting in place are hidden. This can be by clips that hold the metal in place, or fasteners positioned under a flange to keep them out of sight.

These types of clamps are not interchangeable, which means construction companies must keep an inventory of all nine basic types of clamps based on the profile of the standing seam metal system they are using on the project.
The two standing seam clamps we provide will work on most of the same panels and profiles for the standing seam systems. This means that the RC Clamp will fit about 90% of today's standing seam profiles while the RCT Clamp will fit 95% of today's profiles.
