RoofClamp SataMount RCT: The Universal Non-Penetrating Satellite Mount
The RoofClamp SataMount RCT is a universal-fit solution for mounting satellite dishes on standing-seam roofs, offering unmatched strength and durability. Designed to eliminate the need for roof penetrations, this system uses four precision-engineered RCT clamps to lock the mounting base securely to the seams.
Note: The satellite dish shown is for display purposes and is not included. This system is fully Starlink compatible and also works perfectly for mounting electrical junction boxes, solar micro-inverters, conduits, and other rooftop equipment.

Starlink Compatibility Guide
The SataMount RCT has been meticulously engineered to allow customers to securely install any Starlink dish model. The patented seam clamps eliminate the need to penetrate the panels for secure attachment.
- Starlink Gen 1, Gen 2, and Business High-Performance: Stock mounting brackets integrate seamlessly with the SataMount MRM kit; no additional adapters required.
- Starlink Gen 3 (V3/V4): Requires the "Gen 3 Pivot Mount" (available from the official Starlink store) to be compatible with the SataMount.
- Starlink Flat High-Performance: Requires the Starlink Pipe Adapter and a Universal J-Mount Mast.

SataMount RCT Frequently Asked Questions
1. Will the SataMount RCT fit my specific standing seam roof?
The RCT clamps are designed to be "universal," fitting roughly 95% of standing seam profiles. It works on vertical seams and many bulb-style seams. If you have a unique seam, the adjustable set screws allow for a custom, secure fit without piercing the metal. Check our Compatibility Page to see if your panel is on the list.
2. Is this system compatible with the new Starlink Gen 3 (Standard) dish?
Yes, but with one step: The Gen 3 dish uses a "kickstand" that doesn't natively bolt to a flat surface. You must use the Starlink Gen 3 Pivot Mount adapter to bolt the dish to the SataMount Unistrut rails.
3. What is the "Defender Finish" on the Unistrut?
The Defender finish is a highly corrosion-resistant coating designed for 100+ years of service life. It is significantly more durable than standard hot-dipped galvanized coatings, making it ideal for coastal or harsh weather environments.
4. Does the SataMount RCT require any drilling into the roof?
No. The four RCT clamps use non-penetrating set screws to grip the standing seam, preserving your roof's warranty and preventing potential leaks.
5. Can I mount things other than satellite dishes?
Absolutely. The SataMount is essentially a structural mounting platform. It is widely used for mounting junction boxes, solar micro-inverters, conduits, and heavy-duty sensors on standing-seam roofs.
6. What is the maximum load capacity for the SataMount?
Each 27-inch section of P1000T Unistrut is rated for 1,690 lbs of loading. Because the system uses four RoofClamps, it provides an incredibly stable and high-strength base for heavy equipment or high-wind satellite installations.
7. How do I avoid common problems during installation?
- 1. Torque Settings: Ensure set screws are tightened to the recommended 90 in/lbs to prevent clamp slip.
- 2. Spacing: Measure your seam spacing before installation; the SataMount accommodates up to 24" spacing.
- 3. End Caps: Always install the included vinyl end caps to cover the cut ends of the Unistrut channel for a safe and clean finished look.
