SSRA3 Anchor Plate For Horizontal Lifelines On Standing Seam Roofs

The SSRA3 Anchor Plate is a universal mounting plate constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum and professionally tested for OSHA compliance. The SSRA3 is designed to mount on top of two SSRA1 seam anchors and fits about 95% of today's standing seam profiles. Once installed, workers can mount anything to a standing seam roof, including fall protection equipment. The SSRA3 Anchor Plate includes a D-ring that can be mounted either vertically or horizontally for horizontal lifeline attachment. The SSRA3 Anchor Plate is the foundation of our SSRA HLL kit for mounting a 100' temporary horizontal lifeline to a compatible standing seam metal roof.

Standing Seam Roof Anchor SSRA3 Anchor Plate Features

Each SSRA3 Anchor Plate requires 2 Standing Seam Roof Anchors for proper mounting, sold separately.

The SSRA3 Anchor Plate is designed and tested as an anchor point for mounting horizontal lifelines to 22-gauge and 24-gauge steel standing seam roofs.

Overall plate dimensions are 12"x27" with an 11"x12" mounting area between the slide grooves. The SSRA3 Anchor Plate will fit all compatible standing seams up to 24" wide.

(1) SSRA3 Anchor Plate - 6061-T6 Aluminum
(4) Grade 8, 3/8-16x1" Top Bolts for securing the SSRA3 Anchor Plate to the SSRA1 Anchors.
(4) Grade 8, 3/8" Flat Washers for securing the SSRA3 Anchor Plate to the SSRA1 Anchors.
(1) Falltech 7414 D-Ring
(2) Grade 8 3/8-16x1.25" Top Bolts for securing D-Ring to SSRA3 Anchor Plate.
(2) Grade 8 3/8-16 Locking Flange Nut for securing D-Ring to SSRA3 Anchor Plate.
(4) Grade 8 3/8" Flat Washer for securing D-Ring to SSRA3 Anchor Plate.

About Standing Seam Roof Anchor

In 2015, the Standing Seam Roof Anchor System began providing specialized fall protection solutions for standing seam roofs. It all started with the SSRA1 seam anchor, designed to lock onto 95% of all standing seam profiles without penetrating the panels or violating warranties. This patented innovation was the first one-piece design in the industry that used six pairs of opposing set screws for seam attachment.

A couple of months later, the SSRA2 Adjustable Roof Jack adapter was released, making walkboards possible on standing seam roofs. The adjustable height side legs stabilize the roof seams and create a stable walkboard surface. After that, we introduced the SSRA3 Anchor Plate, which allows for the deployment of temporary horizontal lifelines on standing seam roofs without penetrations.
