FallTech 17-Inch Cinch-Loop Scaffold Choker Anchor
The FallTech Tower Scaffold Choker Anchor is a compact 17-inch cinch-loop web anchor sized for scaffold tube and tower steel. The short choke-on loop wraps a rail or member and cinches tight for a quick, secure tie-off in tight spaces.
Built from polyester webbing, it is rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN) and certified to ANSI Z359.18-2017. Its compact 17-inch length suits scaffold and tower work where a full-size sling is too long.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a compact web choker sling anchor for scaffold and tower work, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system. Scaffold and tower crews cinch it onto a rail or member, then connect an SRL or lanyard. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device to complete the system.
Features

Sized for scaffold tube and tower steel where a long sling is impractical.
Choke-on cinch loop
Passes through itself and tightens to lock onto the member.
Durable polyester web
Strong webbing rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN).
Fast in tight spaces
Quick to place and remove on scaffold rails and tower steel.

Typical Applications
How to Install
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the webbing, stitching, and hardware for damage before each use.
- Choose a rated anchor point. Confirm the structure supports at least 5,000 lb and is free of sharp or abrasive edges.
- Wrap the structure. Pass the anchor around the beam, column, or member in the approved configuration.
- Connect. Attach your SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the anchor connection point.
- Check clearance. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the calculator below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Webbing: cuts, frays, pulls, burns, chemical damage, or heavy abrasion.
- Stitching: broken, cut, or worn stitches at the loops and D-ring.
- Hardware (D-ring or thimble): deformation, sharp edges, cracks, or corrosion.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
