To complete your setup, you can source a compatible extension pole locally, saving on shipping fees and potential damages. Head to your nearest big box hardware store and locate the Wooster Sherlock R057 8'-16' extension pole, a durable and dependable option.
Once you’ve got your pole, follow these simple steps to prepare it for your Ridge Pro system:
- Remove the two screws securing the threaded tip at the end of the pole.
- Drill out the existing holes to 1/4" to accommodate the Ridge Pro device.
- Slide the Ridge Pro post inside the pole and secure it with the clevis pin included with your Ridge Pro.

Flip RidgePro over, straddle the ridge, and pull firmly on the lifeline to set it in place. Safely transition to the roof using a lifeline rope grab. Attach four 5/16" x 1 ½" lag screws for a secure tie-off.
