Who Needs This Product

You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why two D-rings?
The twin D-rings let you serve two tie-off points or pass a horizontal lifeline through the anchor for continuous travel along the roof.
Is it permanent?
Yes. It is designed to stay with the building for ongoing roof access, unlike a removable temporary anchor.
What standard is it certified to?
It is certified to ANSI Z359.1-2007 for one worker up to 310 lb (ANSI) or 425 lb (OSHA).
What does it fasten to?
Sound wood framing such as rafters or trusses, per the FallTech instruction manual, then flashed for weather.
How is it different from the Single-D anchor?
The 7431 Twin-D has two D-rings; the Single-D anchor has one. Choose twin for a lifeline pass-through or dual connections.
What do I connect to it?
Connect a compatible SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the connection point, used with a certified full-body harness.
Can it be reused after a fall?
No. Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event and destroy it so it cannot be reused.
