How RidgePro Works:

1. Assemble RidgePro and match the roof pitch.

2. Attach the extension pole (Wooster Surelock R057 8'-16' recommended).

3. Clip your lifeline and hang RidgePro temporarily from the gutter or ladder at roof level.

4. Climb the ladder until your belt is even with RidgePro.

5. Roll RidgePro using the extension pole until it reaches the roof peak.

6. Flip RidgePro over, straddle the ridge, and pull firmly on the lifeline to set it in place.

7. Safely transition to the roof using a lifeline rope grab.

8. Attach four 5/16” x 1 ½” lag screws for a secure tie-off.

No, the RidgePro is designed for various industries, including solar installers, chimney repair crews, insurance claims inspectors, pest control technicians, and holiday light installers.

2. Will the RidgePro work on any roof?

The RidgePro is optimized for shingled roofs at pitches from 6/12 to 12/12. For pitches from 6/12 to 8/12, permanent mounting is advised, even for quick jobs.

3. How does the RidgePro mount to the roof?

Secure RidgePro directly to the roof using four 5/16” x 1 ½” lag screws through the pre-drilled holes. Remove the screws after use and fill the holes with roofing sealant.

4. Does the RidgePro come with an extension pole?

RidgePro is sold on our site without the pole. We recommend purchasing the Wooster Surelock R057 8'-16' at your local Home Depot’s paint department.
