What does Type 2 Class C mean on a safety helmet?

Which face shield fits this helmet and how does it mount?
The clear and shade-5 toric face shields mount to the helmet with the Weight-Compensating Slotted Bracket listed in the build section. The mesh face shield includes its own mounting clips and attaches directly to the shell.
Does the APEX helmet come with a chin strap?
Yes. The APEX helmet ships with a 4-point Class C chin strap included. The chin strap in the Replacement Parts section is for replacing a worn or lost strap; it is not a required add-on.
