APEX Safety Goggles
The Malta Dynamics APEX Safety Goggles are sealed eye protection engineered for the most demanding environments. A dual injected rubber seal creates a comfortable barrier against dust, debris, and airborne hazards, while the streamlined profile pairs seamlessly with hard hats and helmets. An adjustable head strap and quick-release clip make it easy to put the goggles on and take them off without slowing down.
An anti-fog lens coating and an integrated ventilation channel keep vision clear in hot, humid, or fast-changing conditions. Tested to the ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 standard, the APEX Safety Goggles come with clear or tinted polycarbonate lenses in a convenient 12-pair pack for dependable, professional-grade protection on every jobsite.

Who Needs This Product
The APEX Safety Goggles are sealed primary eye protection for workers facing heavy dust, flying debris, or airborne hazards that an open safety glass cannot block. The dual injected rubber seal and adjustable strap suit demolition, grinding, masonry, and chemical-handling tasks, and the low profile is built to be worn under a hard hat or helmet. Each worker wears one pair as part of a complete jobsite PPE program, and the 12-pair pack makes it easy to stock a crew.

Eye protection is task specific. Confirm that the lens tint suits your lighting conditions and that ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-rated goggles are appropriate for your hazard. Replace any pair with scratched, pitted, or cracked lenses, or a failed seal. Inspect before each use, and pair eye protection with the head, hand, hearing, and fall protection your jobsite requires.

Typical Applications
Selection and Use Overview
Use per the Malta Dynamics product instructions. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Match the lens. Clear (SG1300) for indoor or low-light, Tinted (SG1310) for bright outdoor glare and UV.
- Confirm the rating. Verify that ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 protection meets your task and hazard assessment.
- Seat the seal. Position the dual rubber seal against the face so it seals fully around the eyes.
- Adjust the strap. Set the head strap with the quick-release clip for a secure fit, and wear it under a hard hat if needed.
- Inspect before use. Check the lens, seal, and strap for scratches, cracks, or wear, and replace damaged parts.
- Clean and store. Clean lenses with mild soap and water and store them away from abrasive surfaces.
Inspection and Replacement
Inspect each pair before use. Remove eye protection from service for any of the conditions below.
- Lens: scratches, pitting, crazing, or cracks that obscure vision or weaken impact protection.
- Seal: torn, hardened, or deformed rubber that no longer seals to the face.
- Strap and clip: a stretched, frayed, or broken strap or a failed quick-release clip.
- Ventilation: a blocked or damaged ventilation channel that increases fogging.
- Markings: the Z87 and manufacturer markings must remain legible.
Replace eye protection after any direct impact event, when the lens can no longer be cleaned to clear vision, or when the rubber seal or strap fails. Safety goggles are not repaired in the field.
