APEX Safety Glasses
The Malta Dynamics APEX Safety Glasses deliver ANSI-rated impact protection in a lightweight, modern frame. Curved lenses contour to the shape of the eye and face for a secure, wrap-around fit, while large lenses give a full, clear view of your surroundings. A molded nose bridge and flexible anti-slip temple tips create a universal fit that can be worn over prescription glasses.
APEX lenses are anti-scratch, anti-fog, and 99.9 percent UV resistant on tinted models, and the single top-rim design wipes clean with soap and water. Tested to the ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 high-impact standard, they come in Clear, Tinted, and Indoor/Outdoor lenses in a 36-pair contractor pack per lens color.

Who Needs This Product
The APEX Safety Glasses are primary eye protection for any worker exposed to flying particles, dust, or debris. The lightweight contoured frame and universal molded nose bridge suit general construction, manufacturing, shop work, and lab environments where all-day comfort keeps crews wearing their PPE. Each worker wears one pair as part of a complete jobsite program alongside head, hand, and hearing protection, and the 36-pair contractor pack outfits a full crew or safety program at once.

Eye protection is task specific. Confirm the lens tint suits your light conditions and that ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 glasses are rated for your hazard. Replace any pair with scratched, pitted, or cracked lenses, inspect before each use, and pair eye protection with the head, hand, hearing, and fall protection your jobsite requires.

Typical Applications
Selection and Use Overview
Use per the Malta Dynamics product instructions. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Match the lens. Clear for indoor or low-light, Tinted for bright outdoor glare and UV, Indoor/Outdoor for changing light.
- Confirm the rating. Verify ANSI/ISEA Z87.1-2020 high-impact protection meets your task hazard assessment.
- Fit the bridge. Seat the molded nose bridge and set the flexible temple tips for a secure, pressure-free fit.
- Layer with PPE. Wear over prescription glasses if needed and clear of a hard hat, hearing protection, and face shields.
- Inspect before use. Check the lens for scratches, pitting, or cracks and replace damaged pairs.
- Clean and store. Wipe lenses with soap and water and store away from abrasive surfaces.
Inspection and Replacement
Inspect each pair before use. Remove eye protection from service for any of the conditions below.
- Lens: scratches, pitting, crazing, or cracks that obscure vision or weaken impact protection.
- Frame: cracks, broken temples, or loss of the contoured wrap-around shape.
- Temple tips: torn or missing anti-slip tips that let the glasses shift.
- Coating: degraded anti-fog or anti-scratch coating that hazes vision.
- Markings: the Z87 and manufacturer markings must remain legible.
Replace eye protection after any direct impact event, when the lens can no longer be cleaned to clear vision, or when the frame loses its fit. Safety eyewear is not repaired in the field.
