The SataBracket, a crucial component of the SataMount™ system, seamlessly fits any screw-down metal roof with a minimum of 1.5 inches of flat area. It's ingenious design allows it to screw into the flat portion of metal roof panels, a method highly recommended by leading panel manufacturers to prevent roof leaks. The flexible design and precise manufacturing ensure a secure fit without the need for modifications, making installation a breeze.
For shingle roofs, the SataMountMRM system can also be employed with proper preparation, offering a versatile solution for a variety of roofing types. However, it's important to note that standing seam, concealed fastener, and floating metal roofs present a unique challenge. Starlink Compatibility Chart
As Starlink has evolved, numerous antenna designs have become available to the public. Each design has a unique mounting solution, depending on the type of installation required. This chart is a helpful reference for users researching the best way to mount Starlink dishes to metal roof systems. We engineered the SataMount MRM to allow customers to install any Starlink dish model onto just about any metal roof. Still, it is also compatible with asphalt and many other roof types with flat mounting surfaces.
Starlink Gen 1, Gen 2, and Business High-Performance models have stock mounting brackets compatible with the SataMount MRM kit without needing additional adapters.
Starlink Gen 3 (V3/V4) with the stock "kickstand" bracket does require adapters to be compatible with the SataMount MRM. We recommend using the Gen 3 Pivot Mount available from the factory website, Starlink Store. You will log in with your account password to access the Starlink Store.
Starlink Flat High-Performance model requires the Starlink Flat High-Performance Pipe Adapter and a Universal J-Mount Mast with Roof Bracket.
Additional details about the Starlink system and what adapters may be necessary for mounting can be found in this recent article dedicated to the subject.
