FallTech 7094 Heavy-duty Tool Belt for Harnesses, Aluminum Buckle

The FallTech 7094 is a heavy-duty Tool Belt for Harnesses with Aluminum Buckle from the Tool Belt family, built with 1-3/4" heavyweight polyester webbing rated to 5,000 lb minimum static strength and an aluminum alloy buckle with 7 grommeted adjustment positions.

It meets OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.140 and is available in 8 size options. This is a tool belt, not a fall arrest attachment point: your lanyard or SRL connects to the harness, never to the belt. Every unit ships with the full FallTech documentation package, linked below for your safety submittals.

How to Use

This Type E tool belt integrates into a belted harness. The FallTech Body Belts manual, section 4.4, describes the attachment procedure.

  1. Inspect first. Check webbing, stitching, grommets, and the buckle for damage before every use. Remove the belt from service if you find cuts, tears, burns, or corrosion.
  2. Free the belt. Pull the belt out of the harness far enough to pass the end through the loop of the first tool pouch.
  3. Thread the belt. Reinsert the belt through the padding channel and the harness slot, around the back, through the next tool pouch loop, and back into the padding channel and harness slot.
  4. Fasten the buckle. Seat the buckle tongue in a grommeted hole and confirm the buckle is properly secured. The belt should be comfortably snug.
  5. Use it for tools only. Carry tools and tool bags on the belt, and connect fall protection only to the harness. Do not use the Type E belt as a restraint or positioning belt.

Inspection and Service Life

The FallTech Body Belts manual requires the worker to inspect the belt before each use, and an inspection by a competent person every six months. Record results on the inspection record in Appendix B of the manual.

  • Webbing: look for cuts, tears, fraying, abrasion, discoloration, burns, holes, and chemical damage
  • Stitching: check for pulled, broken, or abraded threads at load-bearing junctions
  • Buckle and grommets: confirm no corrosion, distortion, or excess wear on metal parts, and that the buckle tongue seats positively
  • Labels: verify the labels are present and legible

Remove the belt from service if any inspection point fails, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
