  1. Install per the manual. Follow the FallTech installation instructions for concrete strength, embedment, or fasteners.
  2. Verify the installation. Check the completed installation per the manual before first use, following site engineered drawings where applicable.
  3. Insert the mast. Seat the davit mast fully in the base sleeve and pin it in place.
  4. Cap when idle. Keep the sleeve clear of debris and replace the cap after each use.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect the base before each use. Have a competent person inspect the installation at least annually.

  • Base body: cracks, corrosion, and deformation.
  • Fasteners: present, tight, and undamaged.
  • Sleeve: clean, unobstructed, and accepts the mast fully.
  • Anchorage: concrete or structure condition per the installation instructions.
