FallTech 6' FT-X EdgeCore LE SRL-P, Twin-Leg, Field Replaceable
The FR84106TP3S 6 ft FT-X EdgeCore LE SRL, Twin-Leg is a Class 2 leading edge personal self-retracting device with SpeedLink field replaceability. The innovative EdgeCore lifeline is made from Kevlar cables and a UV-resistant composite jacket, weighing far less than steel cable while staying edge-rated, and each steel swivel rebar hook leg replaces in the field with part FR84106RP3S.
It is certified to ANSI Z359.14-2021 as a Class 2 SRL-P and to CSA Z259.2.2-2017 under FallTech CSA Declaration of Conformity DC1011056j, for one worker from 130 to 310 lb under ANSI and up to 420 lb under OSHA. It is suitable for below D-ring tie-off up to five feet and leading edge exposures.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a leading edge twin-leg personal self-retracting device (SRL-P) for workers who tie off at or below the D-ring near sharp or leading edges, such as deck and steel work. The SpeedLink system lets your competent person replace a damaged retractable leg in the field instead of retiring the whole device. What is included: the twin-leg SRL-P assembly only; the harness shown in photos is sold separately. You still need a certified full-body harness and rated anchorages.

Typical Applications
How to Use
Follow the FallTech instruction manual (MSRD32). The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check both EdgeCore lifelines, retraction, locks, housings, SpeedLink connections, and hooks before each use.
- Mount the SRD. Attach the dorsal connector to the harness dorsal D-ring.
- Connect the first leg. Attach one steel swivel rebar hook to a rated anchor, at or below the D-ring per the manual's limits.
- Alternate legs to move. Connect the second leg to the next anchor before releasing the first, keeping 100 percent tie-off.
- Confirm clearance. Verify required fall clearance, setback, and swing-fall with the calculator below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the SRD from service for any of the conditions below.
- EdgeCore lifeline: cuts, broken jacket strands, kinks, burns, chemical damage.
- Retraction and lock: a lifeline that will not retract or lock on a sharp pull.
- Energy absorber: a deployed or torn tear-away cover.
- SpeedLink connection, housing, and hardware: cracks, deformation, or corrosion.
- Hooks: bent gates, corrosion, or gates that will not lock.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the SRD from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
