Malta X1200 Mobile Grabber: Facility Electric Overhead Anchor for 2 Workers
The Malta Dynamics X1200 is a facility mobile fall protection system that delivers two overhead anchor points for work at height inside plants, warehouses, and maintenance shops, with no fixed building anchor and no floor penetration. An electric-powered hydraulic mast raises the anchor to 28 ft by pendant remote, four manually adjustable outrigger jacks level the base, and heavy-duty non-marking tires with a drop-down lunette ring let a forklift or tug reposition the unit between work areas without marking the floor. It is the indoor sibling to the road-towable X1000E and X1240.
Two workers, a 28 ft electric-hydraulic mast on a 12 volt battery, and non-marking tires built for finished floors. Not road-towable.

Adds bi-directional winching so an attendant can raise or lower a worker to a safe level, satisfying the OSHA confined space rescue and retrieval requirement. Includes a 3-Way Recovery SRL.
Compact wireless controller with a range up to 100 ft for mast and hydraulic control from a safe distance, an upgrade over the standard corded pendant.
Two mast-mounted lights that provide 360 degrees of lit work space for low-light plant areas, night shifts, and confined spaces.
High-visibility strobe for awareness near forklift lanes, vehicle traffic, and foot traffic inside a facility.
Lockable disconnect in the rear motor compartment so the unit cannot be powered on or moved while work is in progress, supporting your lockout and tagout program.
Two standardized studs for facilities that require the unit to be electrically grounded.
A mounted fire extinguisher as a first line of defense against fire hazards at the work area.
Big-foot tough-steel pads that spread the outrigger load on soft or uneven surfaces, and they install in seconds.
Oversized outrigger feet with all-steel studs for secure traction when the unit is set up outdoors on snow or ice.

Who Needs the X1200
The X1200 is built for two-worker overhead tie-off inside facilities that have no permanent anchorage above the work: trailer and railcar loading docks, aircraft hangars, heavy equipment shops, and high-ceiling plants and warehouses. Because the base is free-standing and stabilized by four outrigger jacks, there is no drilling, no roof penetration, and no building attachment. The electric-hydraulic mast raises by pendant remote from 2 ft to 28 ft, and the non-marking tires and drop-down lunette ring let a forklift or tug move the unit from bay to bay without scarring the floor. When the work travels between jobsites on public roads, choose the road-towable X1000E or X1240 instead.
Watch: Malta X1200 in ActionSee the X1200 roll onto a smooth warehouse floor, level on its outrigger jacks, and raise its electric-hydraulic mast to an overhead anchor point by pendant remote.
Features
Electric-hydraulic pendant control
Raise and lower the mast from a safe distance with an electric-powered hydraulic system operated by a pendant remote on a 15 ft cord, or add wireless controls.
Facility chassis, not road-towable
Heavy-duty non-marking tires and a drop-down lunette ring let a forklift, tug, or yard truck reposition the unit at low speed without marking sealed or finished floors.
Two overhead anchor points
Two tie-off points rated to 310 lbs each support up to two workers at once for fall arrest or fall restraint.
2 ft to 28 ft working height
The mast sets the overhead anchor anywhere from 2 ft to 28 ft with 10 ft 6 in of arm reach, and it folds to 7 ft 2 in to pass through facility doors.
Battery power with smart charger
A 12 volt, 210 amp hour battery with a 30 amp fuse and battery gauge runs the hydraulics, and a 110 volt quick smart charger recharges from any standard outlet.
USA-made and tested
Built in a USA-based ISO 9001 certified facility and tested to meet OSHA anchorage requirements, with a Declaration of Conformity on file.
Do not tow the X1200 on public roads. Move it only at low speed with a forklift, tug, or yard truck, set up on a stable, level floor, and extend all four outrigger jacks before raising the mast or tying off. Confirm the unit is level, check the battery gauge, complete a daily visual inspection of the frame, mast, jacks, tires, and anchor points, and pair the X1200 with a compatible self-retracting lifeline; SRLs are not included with the unit.
Typical Applications
Warehouse and plant maintenance
Overhead tie-off for two technicians servicing conveyors, racking, lighting, and overhead equipment inside high-ceiling facilities.
Indoor loading docks
Overhead anchorage for workers on top of trailers, tankers, and rail cars during loading and unloading under a roof.
Aircraft hangars and heavy equipment shops
Position dual overhead anchors above aircraft, buses, or large machinery for maintenance, inspection, and washing.
Multi-bay facilities
Roll the unit from bay to bay on non-marking tires and deploy in minutes with the pendant remote, with no floor anchors or building attachment.
