RidgePro Replacement Pads (2-Pack): Peel-and-Stick Rubber Pads for the Ridge Pro Roof Anchor
The RidgePro Replacement Pads are the genuine peel-and-stick rubber pads for the Ridge Pro roof peak anchor. The padded base is what sits on the roof when the RidgePro straddles the peak. It protects the roofing and gives the anchor its grip. After seasons of sun, heat, cold, and dragging the anchor up and over shingles and metal, the original pads wear down, harden, and lose traction. This 2-pack restores the base to like-new condition in a few minutes, with no tools.
Replacement pads are the most common maintenance item RidgePro owners order. We recommend replacing them once a year, or sooner if your pre-use inspection shows wear, tears, peeling edges, or hardened rubber.

Why Replace Your RidgePro Pads?
The RidgePro is a first man up anchor. From the ladder you set it over the ridge with an extension pole and tie off to its vertical lifeline before you step onto the roof. During that time the anchor rests on the roof surface on its pads, so the condition of those pads matters every time you use it.
- Grip on the roof: Fresh rubber holds the RidgePro steady on the peak while you set it and climb. Worn or hardened pads can let the anchor shift.
- Roof protection: The pads keep the aluminum base off the roofing so you do not scuff shingles, scratch painted metal, or mark soft metals like copper and aluminum.
- Longer product life: A set of pads costs a fraction of the anchor. Replacing them on schedule keeps your RidgePro working like new for years.
- Customer confidence: Roofers, solar installers, and adjusters who work on clients' homes need gear that leaves no marks behind.

How to Replace RidgePro Pads
Pad replacement takes about five minutes on the ground.
- Remove the old pads. Peel the worn pads off the RidgePro base.
- Clean the surface. Scrape off any leftover adhesive, wipe the aluminum with rubbing alcohol, and let it dry completely.
- Peel the backing. Remove the release liner from a new pad without touching the adhesive.
- Position and press. Line the pad up where the old pad sat and press firmly across the full surface.
- Let it set. Repeat for the second pad and allow the adhesive to bond before putting the anchor back in service. Adhesive bonds best when applied at room temperature.
Inspect Your Pads Before Every Use
Your RidgePro pads are part of your pre-use inspection along with the anchor body, shackle, lifeline, and harness. Replace the pads if you see any of the following:
- Cracks, tears, or chunks missing from the rubber
- Rubber that has hardened or turned slick and no longer grips
- Edges lifting or the pad sliding on the base
- Pads worn thin enough that metal could contact the roof
- One year of service since the last replacement
Any damage to the anchor body, shackle, or other components is a reason to remove the RidgePro from service and review the RidgePro Owner's Manual. New pads do not repair a damaged anchor.
