The system wraps the structure itself: a ridgetop anchor sits at the peak while two G-Clamps hook opposite roof edges, connected by ratchet straps under constant tension. Features
Zero-Penetration Grappling Design
On pitched roofs the G-Clamps use a twisting, gripping motion known as a grappling effect to adhere to the roof under load. No fasteners ever touch the roofing material.
Parapet and Flat Roof Capability
On flat roofs or roofs with overhanging parapet walls, the system clamps around the roof edges with the anchor raised on extensions in the center, creating a pitched-roof geometry for the straps.
Four Dedicated Tie-Off Points
The ridgetop anchor provides four connection points, two extending from each side. These are the only points rated for PPE connection; never tie off to the G-Clamps or straps.
Constant-Tension Ratchet Straps
Two heavy duty ratchet straps hold the anchor and clamps in a straight line over the peak with constant tension, keeping the system tight through temperature and load changes.
Adjustable T-Bars for Any Rafter Layout
Six T-Bars center the clamps on the rafters. If rafters are wider than 36", additional extensions pin onto the T-bar ends, and enclosed soffits can be centered using the soffit cover nail lines.
Roof-Friendly Riser Blocks
For standing seam and ceramic or clay tile, Velcro-backed riser blocks with friction pads elevate the system so no seam or tile is crushed. Replace pads when compressed to less than 50% thickness.

Never connect a lanyard to the G-Clamps, straps, or strap connection points; the four tie-off points on the ridgetop anchor are the only rated connections. All three pieces must align in a straight line over the peak to two opposite roof edges, and the structure must be capable of withstanding 5,000 lb. Do not use on rotten or deteriorating roofs or supports. Remove the system from use immediately in the event of a fall.

Installation Overview

- Walk the perimeter and select anchor locations that put the two G-Clamps and ridgetop anchor in a straight line over the peak to two opposite roof edges.
- Verify roof and support condition; never install on rotten or deteriorating structure.
- Set the protractor arm to the roof pitch so the arm remains vertical.
- Center the T-Bars on the rafters, adding pin-on extensions when rafters exceed 36".
- On tile or standing seam, attach the Velcro-backed riser blocks with friction pads so no seam or tile is crushed.
- Hook the G-Clamps under opposite eave edges and connect the ratchet straps to the ridgetop anchor.
- Tension both ratchet straps evenly until the system holds constant tension over the peak.
- Connect PPE only to the four tie-off points on the ridgetop anchor and inspect the complete system before each shift.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before installation and each use, with documented annual inspections. Remove the anchor from service when any of the following apply:
- Deformation or bending of the anchor, G-Clamps, or T-Bars
- Cracks in the protective finish or welds
- Wire locking pins connecting T-Bars to the G-Clamps are missing or unlocked
- Riser blocks are damaged, dented, or not securely attached
- Friction pads compressed to less than 50% of original thickness
- Ratchet straps show cuts, fraying, UV damage, or slipping ratchets
- Any part is missing, or replacement parts were not obtained from the manufacturer
- The system arrested a fall
Tag anchors removed from service to prevent further use until inspected by a qualified or competent person.

Super Anchor Safety Manufacturer Warranty
Super Anchor Safety (SAS) warrants to the purchaser that all products are free from defect in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. This warranty is limited to product replacement for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation or use by the owner, provided that this period shall not exceed two (2) years from the date of shipment. This warranty only covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover conditions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, or accident. This product warranty does not cover oxidation of zinc, dacromet, or powder coatings used on permanent and temporary anchors that results from connector abrasion unless the coating can be shown to be defective at the time of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable. Any unused defective product will be replaced at no charge by returning the product to Super Anchor Safety or to the distributor the product was purchased from.
Permanent Anchor Warranty
Super Anchor Safety warrants to the purchaser that all anchors sold as a permanent fixture with Hot Dip Galvanizing, Stainless Steel, and Thermo-Plastic finishes are fully warranted against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of initial installation. SAS does not warranty the installation or flashing system used to waterproof the anchors. The SAS factory warranty is void if the product has been modified or has not been used in accordance with SAS specifications and instructions for that product. Anchors that have been removed from service due to re-roofing or remodel of the structure they were originally attached to must be inspected by an SAS factory representative or a competent person before being reinstalled.
