FallTech 744850 Concrete Embed D-Ring Anchor (4 ft, 50-Pack)

The FallTech 744850 is a bulk 50-pack of 4-foot concrete embed d-ring anchors. Each strap is cast into fresh concrete to create a permanent, single-use tie-off point, and the 50-count case pack is sized for large pours where crews set many anchors at once.

Each anchor meets ANSI Z359.1-2007 and ANSI A10.32-2004, rated to a 5,000 lb anchorage requirement for one worker up to 310 lb. This is the economical way to stock 4-foot embed d-ring anchors for a big job.

Who Needs This Product

This product is a 50-count bulk pack of 4-foot concrete embed d-ring anchors for large concrete pours. Concrete and precast crews cast each strap into the wet slab so a tie-off point is available once cured. Each is a single-use, permanent anchor. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device, and the anchors must not be used to lift or support loads.

Features

Bulk 50-count pack

Stock 4-foot embed anchors economically for a large pour.

Cast into concrete

Each strap becomes a permanent part of the slab or wall.

D-Ring connection

Finished with a forged steel D-ring at the surface.

Polyester web strap

Strong embedded webbing that bonds into the cured concrete.

ANSI Z359.1-2007 and A10.32

Each anchor meets or exceeds the applicable standards.

Job-lot quantity

One case covers a large layout of anchor points.

How to Install Each Anchor

Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.

  1. Plan the layout. Mark anchor locations and confirm slab thickness and edge distance per the manual.
  2. Position before the pour. Secure each embed strap so the connection end sits at the finished surface.
  3. Cast in concrete. Pour and consolidate around each fully embedded strap.
  4. Cure fully. Let the concrete reach its required strength before use.
  5. Inspect and connect. Inspect each anchor, connect your SRL or lanyard, and confirm fall clearance below.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.

  • Connection point at the surface: cuts, fraying, or damage where it exits the concrete.
  • Hardware or loop: deformation, sharp edges, corrosion, or worn stitching.
  • Concrete around each anchor: cracking or spalling.
  • Labels: illegible or missing markings.

Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
