FallTech Concrete Embed D-Ring Anchor
The FallTech Concrete Embed D-Ring Anchor is a polyester web strap that is cast into fresh concrete to create a permanent, single-use anchor point with a forged steel D-ring at the surface. Set it in the wet pour and it becomes part of the slab or wall.
It meets ANSI Z359.1-2007 and ANSI A10.32-2004, rated to a 5,000 lb anchorage requirement, for one worker up to 310 lb. Choose the embedded length (2 ft to 8 ft) for your slab thickness or reinforcement depth. Sold in multi-packs.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a concrete embed anchor, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system that is cast into concrete during the pour. Concrete and precast crews set it in the wet slab or wall so the D-ring is available for tie-off once cured. It is a single-use, permanent anchor. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device, and the anchor must not be used to lift or support loads.

Typical Applications
How to Install
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Plan the location. Mark where the anchor is needed and confirm slab thickness and edge distance per the manual.
- Position before the pour. Tie or secure the embed strap so the D-ring end sits at the finished surface.
- Cast in concrete. Pour and consolidate the concrete around the fully embedded strap.
- Cure fully. Let the concrete reach its required strength before using the anchor.
- Inspect and connect. Inspect the D-ring and surface, connect your SRL or lanyard, and confirm fall clearance below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Webbing at the surface: cuts, fraying, or damage where it exits the concrete.
- D-ring: deformation, sharp edges, cracks, or corrosion.
- Concrete around the anchor: cracking or spalling.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
