FallTech 7460A Adjustable Parapet Wall Anchor
The FallTech 7460A Adjustable Parapet Wall Anchor clamps over a parapet wall to create a tie-off point at the roof edge without penetrating the roof membrane. Its adjustable jaw fits a range of parapet thicknesses, and it can be repositioned or removed.
It meets OSHA fall protection requirements, for one worker up to 310 lb (ANSI) or 425 lb (OSHA), for roof-edge work on buildings with a parapet.

Who Needs This Product
This product is an adjustable parapet wall anchor, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system for roof-edge work. Crews clamp it over the parapet to create a tie-off point without penetrating the roof, then connect an SRL or lanyard. It can be moved along the wall. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device.
Features
No roof penetration
Clamps over the parapet so you do not breach the roof membrane.
Adjustable jaw
Fits a range of parapet wall thicknesses.
Roof-edge tie-off
Creates a strong anchor point right where edge work happens.
Reusable
Reposition it along the wall or remove it between jobs.
Durable steel
Built to clamp and hold on masonry or concrete parapets.
OSHA compliant
Meets the OSHA anchorage requirement for one worker.
Clamp over a sound parapet within the rated thickness range. Confirm the parapet is structurally sound and within the anchor's adjustment range, and tighten the clamp fully per the manual. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the Fall Protection Calculator below.
Compliance Standards
OSHA compliant
Meets OSHA fall protection anchorage requirements. Not ANSI-certified.
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502
Federal construction fall protection anchorage requirements.
OSHA 29 CFR 1910

Typical Applications
How to Install
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the anchor body, connection point, and hardware for damage before each use.
- Prepare the structure. Confirm the mounting surface is sound and rated to support the anchor per the manual.
- Install and secure. Mount the anchor as specified and set all fasteners to the required torque.
- Connect. Attach your SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the connection point.
- Check clearance. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the calculator below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Anchor body and welds: cracks, bending, deformation, or corrosion.
- D-ring or connection point: deformation, sharp edges, cracks, or corrosion.
- Fasteners and hardware: damaged threads, loose or missing fasteners.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a confined space davit system - the rotating retrieval point that lowers and recovers workers and material over an opening. Confined space teams, utilities, and tank crews build their entry and non-entry rescue around it. It requires a rated winch or 3-way SRL, a full body harness, and a written rescue plan to form a complete system.
Features
360-degree boom
Swing the load over the opening and away to the landing zone.
Two integrated pulleys
Run a fall arrest SRL and a retrieval winch line simultaneously.
Permanent base options
Mount to steel, concrete, or a truck bed for mobile rescue.
Made in the USA
Patriot-line build for Buy American specs.
Removable boom
Lift the boom out when the entry point is not in use.
Tank and edge ready
Reaches over tank rims and leading edges.
