COB01SW Concrete Swiveling Anchor
The COB01SW is a forged steel anchorage connector for concrete with a D-ring that rotates a full 360 degrees and flips back and forth through 180 degrees, so the connecting device follows the worker instead of twisting or side-loading the anchor. The compact forged body measures just 4.06 x 3.23 x 2.13 inches, carries a 5,000 lb minimum breaking strength, and wears a galvanized finish for indoor and outdoor service.
Bolt it to concrete walls, ceilings, columns, or other concrete structures through the 0.69 inch bolt hole. The anchor is reusable - when the crew moves to the next work area, the bolt is simply replaced and the anchor body goes back to work. Rated for a 130-310 lb user weight range, it conforms to ANSI Z359.18 and ANSI A10.32 and aligns with OSHA 1926 and OSHA 1910 requirements.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a reusable anchorage connector - the anchor point of a personal fall arrest or fall restraint system on concrete. Concrete contractors, restoration crews, and maintenance teams bolt it to walls, ceilings, and columns wherever a swiveling tie-off is needed. Each worker still needs a full body harness and a compatible connecting device attached to the D-ring.
Features
Full swivel D-ring
Rotates 360 degrees and flips back and forth through 180 degrees, so the lifeline tracks the worker without twisting or side-loading the anchor.

One-piece forged steel body with a 5,000 lb minimum breaking strength in a compact 4.06 x 3.23 x 2.13 inch footprint.
Galvanized finish
Corrosion protection for indoor and outdoor concrete work in tough jobsite conditions.
Any concrete surface
Anchors to concrete walls, ceilings, columns, and other concrete structures.

The concrete carries the load. The base material and installation hardware must be verified by a qualified person for the intended fall protection load before use. One worker per anchor within the 130-310 lb user weight range - follow the user manual for bolt selection, embedment, and torque, and calculate fall clearance before tying off.

Typical Applications
Installation Overview
Follow the manufacturer's manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the D-ring, swivel action, forged body, bolt, and label before each installation.
- Verify structure. Have a qualified person confirm the concrete carries the intended fall protection load.
- Drill. Drill the anchor hole in the concrete to the diameter, depth, and edge distances specified in the manual.
- Bolt. Install the anchor with the specified bolt through the 0.69 inch hole and torque to the manual specification.
- Check the swivel. Confirm the D-ring rotates and flips freely with no binding.
- Connect. Attach the connecting device to the D-ring and verify fall clearance before work begins.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least every 6 months. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.
- D-ring and body: bending, cracks, nicks, gouges, or wear at the connection point.
- Swivel action: binding, grinding, or excessive play in the rotation or flip.
- Bolt and threads: corrosion, thread damage, or loss of torque - replace the bolt when relocating the anchor.
- Finish: corrosion or damage that exposes bare steel.
- Markings: missing or illegible product label.
Retire the anchor immediately after any fall arrest event, any deformation or crack, or any condition where it cannot be verified as safe for service.
