COB110K Reusable 10K Concrete Anchor Bolt
The COB110K is the 10,000 lbf version of Frontline's most popular concrete anchor - a portable, reusable anchor bolt that installs in a matter of seconds. Drill a 1 inch hole in the concrete, insert the bolt, and the stainless steel spoons and cone lock it into the substrate to create an immediate anchorage connector. When the work moves, the anchor removes just as fast and reinstalls at the next tie-off point.
At 13.75 inches long and just 1 lb, it works on vertical or horizontal concrete applications wherever a 1 inch hole can be drilled at least 10 inches from any edge. The anchor is built from stainless steel, zinc plated steel, aluminum, and aircraft cable, carries a 310 lb user capacity, and conforms to ANSI Z359.7-2011 and ANSI Z359.18 with OSHA 1926.502, OSHA 1910.140, and EN 795 alignment.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a reusable anchorage connector - the anchor point of a personal fall arrest system on concrete. Concrete crews, bridge and parking structure contractors, and facade access teams drop it into a drilled hole wherever a high-strength tie-off is needed, then pull it and move on. Each worker still needs a full body harness and a compatible connecting device attached to the anchor eye.
Features
Seconds to install
Once the 1 inch hole is drilled, the anchor bolt sets in a matter of seconds - no adhesives, no cure time.
Fully removable and reusable
Pull the anchor when the work moves and reinstall it at the next location, job after job.
10,000 lbf tensile strength
Double the strength of the 5K version for applications that demand a higher rated anchor.
Vertical or horizontal
Works in walls, decks, and soffits wherever hole placement meets the manual requirements.
Corrosion resistant build
Stainless steel spoons and cone with zinc plated steel, aluminum, and aircraft cable components.
Truly portable
At 13.75 inches and 1 lb, a single worker can carry several anchors to the work area.

The concrete carries the load. The concrete substrate must be verified by a qualified person for the intended fall protection load before use, and the hole must meet the manual requirements for diameter, depth, and the 10 inch minimum edge distance. One worker per anchor at 310 lbs maximum - calculate fall clearance before tying off.

Typical Applications
Installation Overview
Follow the manufacturer's manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the cable, spoons, cone, eye, and label before each installation.
- Verify structure. Have a qualified person confirm the concrete carries the intended fall protection load.
- Drill. Drill a 1 inch diameter hole to the manual depth, at least 10 inches from any edge, and clean it out.
- Insert. Insert the anchor bolt and set it per the manual - installation takes a matter of seconds.
- Verify. Confirm the anchor is fully seated and locked per the manual before loading.
- Connect. Attach the connecting device to the anchor eye and verify fall clearance before work begins.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least every 6 months. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.
- Aircraft cable: broken wires, kinks, birdcaging, or corrosion.
- Spoons and cone: deformation, cracks, wear, or debris that prevents full engagement.
- Anchor eye: bending, nicks, gouges, or wear at the connection point.
- Overall hardware: corrosion or damage to the zinc plated and aluminum components.
- Markings: missing or illegible product label.
Retire the anchor immediately after any fall arrest event, any deformation, cable damage, or any condition where it cannot be verified as safe for service.
