ROSU01SS Stainless Steel Permanent Use Roof Anchor – 5-Pack
This 5-pack includes five Frontline ROSU01SS permanent-use roof anchors. Each one disappears into the roof: fasten the 9 in stainless steel strap at the peak or on the flat of the roof, shingle over the base, and the zinc plated D-ring stays presented for tie-off - this season, and every season after.
The electro polished stainless steel construction is built for a life outdoors, carrying a 5,000 lb breaking strength at a net weight of just 0.35 lbs. The D-ring offers a 1.9 in opening for easy connections. Per the Frontline spec sheet it meets ANSI Z359.18 and aligns with OSHA 1910 and 1926, and hardware is included. Also available as a 20-pack.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a permanent single-point anchorage connector for personal fall arrest or restraint systems on residential and light commercial roofs. Roofers install it during the roofing job and leave it for future maintenance access; solar and service crews tie off to anchors that were planned years before. Each worker still needs a full body harness and a compatible connecting device attached to the D-ring.

Typical Applications
How to Install the ROSU01SS
Follow the manufacturer's manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Plan the layout. Locate anchors over structural framing per the Frontline manual and the work zones they will serve.
- Inspect the anchor. Check the strap, D-ring, and welds before installation.
- Position at the peak or flat. Set the base so the D-ring presents toward the work area.
- Fasten. Install the included hardware into sound structure per the manual pattern.
- Shingle over. Cover the base with roofing material, leaving the D-ring exposed.
- Connect and verify. Pull-test the D-ring and confirm fall clearance before each use.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least every 6 months. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.
- D-ring: deformation, cracks, corrosion, or wear at the strap interface.
- Strap and welds: bending, cracking, or corrosion staining.
- Fasteners: withdrawal, shear, or structure damage at the mounting points.
- Roofing interface: water intrusion or rot around the anchor base.
- Markings: labels must be present and legible where visible.
Retire and replace the anchor immediately after any fall arrest event or if any inspection point fails. A permanent anchor that cannot be verified must be treated as unusable.
