ROSU02SS Stainless Steel Roof Anchor, Double D-Ring, 20-Pack
The Frontline ROSU02SS doubles the connection points of a permanent roof anchor: an 18 in electro polished stainless steel base plate carries a zinc plated D-ring at each end, so the anchor straddles the peak and serves both slopes - or covers two work zones on a flat run.
Like its single-ring sibling, the base shingles over for a clean, permanent installation. It carries a 5,000 lb breaking strength at 0.7 lbs net weight, with 1.9 in D-ring openings, and Intertek tested it to ANSI/ASSP Z359.18-2017 as a Type A anchorage connector on wood substrate. Hardware is included. Also available as a 20-pack. This listing is the 20-pack: twenty individually packaged anchors in one order, ready to outfit a full crew or a full development.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a permanent double-point anchorage connector for personal fall arrest or restraint systems on residential and light commercial roofs. Installed straddling the ridge, one anchor presents a D-ring to each roof slope - roofers, solar crews, and maintenance teams tie off to whichever side they work. One worker per D-ring per the manual, each with a full body harness and a compatible connecting device.

Compliance Standards
ANSI Z359.18-2017 Type A
American National Standard for anchorage connectors. Intertek tested the ROSU02SS on wood substrate: design, static, abrasion-conditioned dynamic, and residual strength all PASS - see the test report in Submittals.
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.502
Federal construction fall protection criteria, including anchorage strength requirements.
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.140
General industry personal fall protection system requirements.
Typical Applications
How to Install the ROSU02SS
Follow the manufacturer's manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Plan the layout. Locate anchors over structural framing per the Frontline manual and the work zones each D-ring will serve.
- Inspect the anchor. Check the base plate, both D-rings, and welds before installation.
- Straddle the peak. Set the 18 in base across the ridge (or along the flat) so each D-ring presents to its slope.
- Fasten. Install the included hardware into sound structure per the manual pattern.
- Shingle over. Cover the base with roofing material, leaving both D-rings exposed.
- Connect and verify. Pull-test each D-ring and confirm fall clearance before each use.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least every 6 months. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.
- D-rings: deformation, cracks, corrosion, or wear at the base interface.
- Base plate and welds: bending, cracking, or corrosion staining.
- Fasteners: withdrawal, shear, or structure damage at the mounting points.
- Roofing interface: water intrusion or rot around the anchor base.
- Markings: labels must be present and legible where visible.
Retire and replace the anchor immediately after any fall arrest event or if any inspection point fails. A permanent anchor that cannot be verified must be treated as unusable.
