Double-D Permanent Roof Anchor, 2-Pack

The RA40 installs at the ridge and stays: a corrosion-resistant permanent roof anchor with two D-rings, serving roofing work today and every maintenance visit after. Sold as a 2-pack, it anchors both ends of a job or both slopes of a ridge.

The double-D configuration gives rigging flexibility at the peak while the permanent installation ends ladder-and-strap improvisation on return visits.

Who Needs This Product

Every reroof and every rooftop unit means someone up there again. Permanent ridge anchors turn that recurring exposure into a solved problem: the tie-off is already installed, rated, and waiting. The 2-pack covers a typical residential ridge or two service points on a commercial deck. Note: for standing seam metal roofs, use our non-penetrating SSRA1 clamp anchors instead.

Features

Fleet 2-Pack

Two anchors cover a ridge span or two recurring service points in one order.

Double D-Rings

Two rigging points per anchor add setup flexibility at the peak.

Ridge-Peak Design

Purpose-shaped for reliable positioning at the roof peak.

Corrosion-Resistant

Materials chosen to live on a roof for years.

Permanent Rating

Installed once per the instructions, inspected and reused for the life of the roof.

Maintenance Ready

Future visits clip in instead of rigging from scratch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this sold as a 2-pack?
Roof anchors deploy in pairs on most jobs: both ends of a ridge or two service points. The pack prices them accordingly; the photo shows one anchor.
How does the RA40 install?
Fastened at the ridge peak into structural members per the instructions, by or under a qualified person.
Does it work on standing seam metal roofs?
No; penetrating a standing seam roof voids its warranty. Use our SSRA1 standing seam clamp anchors for that roof type.
Why two D-rings?
Rigging flexibility: line direction changes at the peak without side-loading a single ring.
Can it be left installed?
Yes, that is the point: it is a permanent anchor, inspected before each use and annually.
Who can use each anchor?
One personal fall arrest system per anchor point.
How often does it need inspection?
Before each use plus documented competent person inspection at least annually.
