TLC05 ToolGrip Coil Tool Tether, 5 lbs, 4-Pack
The Frontline TLC05 solves the dangle problem entirely: its coiled design holds the tether in a compact spiral against your body, stretching out only when the tool needs the distance and recoiling the moment it returns.
Compatible with most hand tools 5 lbs or lighter, it ships with two lightweight self-locking twist pin lock aluminum carabiners - one for the anchor, one for the tool. ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 dropped object prevention.

Who Needs This Product
This product is dropped-object prevention equipment from the Frontline ToolGrip line. Crews working at height tether their tools so a slip never becomes a struck-by incident below. ToolGrip products are rated for tools only - personal fall protection is a separate system.
Features
Coil beats dangle
The spiral stays compact against your body instead of swinging at your knees.
Two locking carabiners
Twist pin lock aluminum gates at both ends - tool and anchor.
Innovative anti-tangle
The coil recoils after every reach, so it cannot wrap your other gear.
5 lb rating
Sized for the everyday hand tools.
Lightweight
Aluminum hardware keeps the carry penalty near zero.
System component
Pairs with ACQW12 tape for tool-side points.

How to Use the TLC05
Follow the manufacturer's manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the coil, terminations, and both carabiner locks before each use.
- Anchor one end. Twist-lock one carabiner to a belt D-ring or ACTLDR anchor.
- Connect the tool. Twist-lock the other carabiner to the tool attachment point.
- Confirm both locks. Verify both twist pin gates are fully seated.
- Tug test. Verify before working at height.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.
- Webbing and elastic: cuts, fraying, abrasion, burns, or loss of elasticity.
- Stitching: broken, pulled, or abraded threads.
- Hardware: deformation, cracks, corrosion, or gates and locks that fail to close.
- Attachment points: loose tape bonds, worn loops, or damaged D-rings.
