The SSRA3 Anchor Plate Bundle gives you everything you need to mount a secure anchor point on a standing seam roof. This assembly includes two SSRA1 Seam Anchors, one SSRA3 Anchor Plate, and a 5,000 lbs D-Ring for a strong, OSHA-compliant tie-off system that works on about 95% of standing seam profiles from 12 inches to 24 inches wide.
Use it as a single-worker tie-off for personal fall arrest, or as one end anchor for a temporary horizontal lifeline system. When used with a lifeline, two of these assemblies are required—one at each end of the span. This assembly is a flexible option for roofing contractors, maintenance crews, or anyone who needs a safe and non-penetrating way to tie off on standing seam metal.
Key Features of the SSRA3 Anchor Plate Bundle
This bundle is compatible with 22- and 24-gauge steel standing seam panels. 24-gauge steel panels will require the use of nylon tip set screws in the SSRA1 anchor. Workers will need two SSRA3 Anchor Plate Bundles for mounting a horizontal lifeline kit. Proper installation requires a micro torque wrench (in/lbs) and a 3/16 inch hex bit socket. Workers are required to wear shock absorbers when using this assembly as a tie off.
