FallTech 78012CSWE 12-Inch Post Anchor with Welded Eye
The FallTech 78012CSWE is a 12-inch post anchor with a welded eye, mounted to concrete or steel to raise the tie-off point above the working surface. Elevating the anchor reduces free fall and helps keep the lifeline clear of the deck.
It is certified to ANSI Z359.18-2017, rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN), for one worker up to 310 lb (ANSI) or 425 lb (OSHA).

Who Needs This Product
This product is a post anchor, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system. Crews mount it to concrete or steel to raise the tie-off point above the deck, then connect an SRL or lanyard to the welded eye. The raised anchor reduces free fall. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device.
Features

The 12 in post lifts the anchor above the deck to reduce free fall.
Welded eye
A strong, fixed connection point for an SRL or lanyard.
Concrete or steel mount
Fastens to concrete or structural steel per the manual.
Keeps the line clear

Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Anchor body and welds: cracks, bending, deformation, or corrosion.
- D-ring or connection point: deformation, sharp edges, cracks, or corrosion.
- Fasteners and hardware: damaged threads, loose or missing fasteners.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
