FallTech FT-Lineman Pro Body Belt with Waist Pad
Belt design prioritizes ergonomics and adjustability to support the climber's weight and eliminate pinch points. Features 4kV rated dielectric overmolded D-rings for secondary connection, protected from arc flash and electrocution hazards.
Fully adjustable; accomodating a range of six D-ring sizes per belt size for that perfect fit. Optimized Primary Connecting Links maintain proper orientation of both carabiner and climber while still traveling smoothly.

Who Needs This Product
Professional line workers wear the FT-Lineman Pro body belt through ten-hour days of climbing and positioning, which is why FallTech built it around ergonomics: a supportive waist pad, six D-ring positions per belt size for exact fit, and 4kV rated dielectric overmolded D-rings for the secondary connection. Tongue buckle and quick-connect versions cover crew preference.

Meets ASTM F887 Standards and OSHA Regulations.
A body belt positions; it does not arrest falls. Under OSHA, fall arrest requires a full body harness. This belt is the positioning and restraint platform for wood pole work with a fall restrict device per ASTM F887 and your utility's rules.
Compliance Standards
ASTM F887-20
Applicable requirement for this equipment: ASTM F887-20.
ASTM F887
Standard specification for personal climbing equipment used by line workers, including wood pole fall restrict devices and body belts.
Typical Applications
How to Use
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Size the belt. Choose S through XL by waist measurement, then fine-tune with six D-ring size positions per belt.
- Connect the WPFRD. The primary connecting links maintain proper orientation of carabiner and snap hook.
- Use the dielectric D-rings. The 4kV rated overmolded D-rings carry the secondary connection.
- Adjust for the day. The waist pad and full adjustability carry the climber's weight through the shift.
- Inspect and log. Check webbing, stitching, and hardware before each climb.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent person inspection at least annually per ASTM F887 practice.
- Webbing: cuts, burns, fraying, and UV or chemical damage.
- Stitching: broken threads at load seams.
- D-rings: dielectric overmolding intact; no cracks or deep nicks.
- Buckles: tongue or quick-connect engagement positive.
- Waist pad: attachment and condition.
Retirement triggers: any fall loading, damaged webbing or stitching, compromised dielectric overmolding, or failed buckles.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a confined space davit system - the rotating retrieval point that lowers and recovers workers and material over an opening. Confined space teams, utilities, and tank crews build their entry and non-entry rescue around it. It requires a rated winch or 3-way SRL, a full body harness, and a written rescue plan to form a complete system.
Features
360-degree boom
Swing the load over the opening and away to the landing zone.
Two integrated pulleys
Run a fall arrest SRL and a retrieval winch line simultaneously.
Permanent base options
Mount to steel, concrete, or a truck bed for mobile rescue.
Made in the USA
Patriot-line build for Buy American specs.
Removable boom
Lift the boom out when the entry point is not in use.
Tank and edge ready
Reaches over tank rims and leading edges.
