Factory assemblies keep the certification. The APEX Pro's CSA and ASTM Type AB certification assumes the factory rope, hook, and keeper. Replace wear items with factory assemblies only, and retire any rope after fall loading.

- Swap per the manual. Replace the rope or keeper following the FallTech instructions.
- Function check. Run the adjuster through its travel and verify lock before climbing.
- Log it. Record the replacement in the device inspection record.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect on the device's schedule, before each use and annually by a competent person.
- Rope: cuts, abrasion, glazing, and diameter loss.
- Hardware: snap hook gate and lock function.
- Magnets: keeper holds the tail firmly.
Replace any component that fails inspection; retire rope assemblies after any fall loading.
