Temporary Webbing Anchor with Rebar Hook and D-Ring

The 480 is the fastest anchor in the Miller line: a 19 inch webbing loop with a large-throat rebar hook on one end and a D-ring on the other. Wrap the member, clip the hook back to the structure or web, and the D-ring is ready for the system.

ANSI Z359-2007 compliant and light enough to forget on the harness until the next tie-off point.

Who Needs This Product

For crews that anchor to rebar, angle, and lattice all day, the 480 beats a full strap: shorter, faster, and the rebar hook does the catching. It rides on the harness between points and turns any rated member within reach into a tie-off.

Features

Large-Throat Rebar Hook

Closes directly over rebar, angle iron, and members that defeat snap hooks.

Integrated D-Ring

Gives the lanyard or SRL a proper interface on the other end.

19 Inch Format

Short and light: the anchor that is actually carried is the one that gets used.

Durable Webbing

Built for daily wraps on rough steel.

Tool-Free Speed

Wrap, clip, connect: seconds per anchor point.

ANSI Z359 Compliance

Certified temporary anchorage connector practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 480 install?
Wrap the webbing around a rated member and close the rebar hook over the structure or back onto the web per the instructions; connect the system to the D-ring.
What is it for?
Fast, repetitive temporary tie-off on rebar, angle, and structural members, especially where a full-size strap is overkill.
What structure can it anchor?
Any member meeting the OSHA 5,000 lb anchorage requirement.
Is it reusable?
Yes; it rides on the harness between anchor points and inspects in seconds.
What connects to the D-ring?
Snap hooks and carabiners from lanyards and SRLs; one system per anchor.
Why the rebar hook?
The large throat swallows bar and angle that a standard snap hook cannot, without needing a wrap-and-choke.
How often does it need inspection?
Before each use plus documented competent person inspection at least annually.
