Super Anchor Hold-Me Rope Termination Temporary Anchor Plate

The Super Anchor Hold-Me is a rope termination anchor plate that connects a rope to structure without knots or factory terminations. It provides an effective way to make compliant end terminations in the field, and it works with all Super Anchor 5/8 inch vertical lifelines.

The Hold-Me plate is 2 inches wide and 10 inches tall with six holes, is constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum, and weighs just 9.3 ounces. It carries a 5,000 pound ultimate load capacity and complies with ANSI Z359.1. Because knots reduce rope strength, the plate lets you terminate without them.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the Hold-Me do?
It terminates a rope to structure without knots or factory terminations, making a compliant field end termination. Following the manufacturer guidance on this page is part of keeping your equipment audit ready. A qualified person should verify that the installation and the overall system meet the requirements of your specific job site.
What rope does it fit?
All Super Anchor 5/8 inch vertical lifelines. Confirm each component in the system is compatible and rated for the intended use before connecting to it. If you have any doubt about the correct setup, consult a qualified person or the manufacturer instructions before putting the system into service.
Why avoid knots?
Knots reduce rope strength. The Hold-Me lets you terminate without them for a stronger, compliant connection. Make sure the connecting hardware and anchorage suit your application before you attach a lanyard or lifeline. Store it in a clean, dry place away from heat and chemicals to help preserve its condition between uses.
What is it made of?
6061-T6 aluminum. The plate is 2 by 10 inches with six holes and weighs 9.3 ounces. Refer to the specification table above for full details on construction, finish, and sizing. If you have any doubt about the correct setup, consult a qualified person or the manufacturer instructions before putting the system into service.
What is the load rating?
A 5,000 pound ultimate load capacity, compliant with ANSI Z359.1. The specifications listed on this page outline the build details you need for your application. If you have any doubt about the correct setup, consult a qualified person or the manufacturer instructions before putting the system into service.
What is the maximum user weight?
310 pounds, per the Hold-Me specification sheet. See the Technical Specifications on this page for the exact materials, dimensions, and ratings. Always inspect the product before each use and take it out of service if you notice any damage, deformation, or excessive wear. Before every use, confirm the product is compatible with the rest of your fall protection system and that you have adequate fall clearance below the work area.
Do I need a harness with this anchor?
Yes. The plate is a rope termination point only and must be paired with a rated lifeline, rope grab, and full-body harness. Make sure the connecting hardware and anchorage suit your application before you attach a lanyard or lifeline. Keep the manufacturer instructions with the equipment so anyone using it can reference the approved procedures.
