1126-6A CRZ-6A Z-Purlin Loop Top Anchor
The Super Anchor 1126-6A, part name CRZ-6A, is a permanent bolt-thru roof anchor built for the standard Z-purlins used in steel and commercial building structures. A No. 1090 cast steel loop top rated at 10,000 lb tensile strength sits on a 6 inch, foam-filled, hot-dip galvanized 3.0 inch Schedule 40 riser, and two 3/8 inch steel legs straddle the purlin so stainless steel bolts pass through the purlin web. The anchor carries a 5,000 lb minimum strength in any direction of applied load, and the loop top sits parallel with the ridge, which is the A orientation.

Who Needs This Product
The CRZ-6A is for metal building contractors, roofers, facility owners, and safety engineers who need a permanent anchorage on a purlin-framed roof where there is no deck or slab to bolt a base plate to. Pre-engineered steel buildings, warehouses, and agricultural and industrial structures frame their roofs with Z-purlins, and the CRZ legs clamp that purlin with a bolt-thru connection instead of relying on the roof panel. One anchor serves one worker at up to 310 lb, including tools and equipment, for fall arrest or fall restraint. The same loop top accepts Super Anchor horizontal lifeline end hardware and serves as a window washing anchor. Every worker wears a full-body harness with an energy-absorbing lanyard or self-retracting lifeline that meets current OSHA and ANSI standards.
Features
Bolt-thru purlin attachment
Two 3/8 inch steel legs straddle the Z-purlin, and 3/8 inch stainless steel bolts pass through both legs, the purlin web, and the blocking for a very strong connection point.
10,000 lb cast steel loop top
The No. 1090 Q235 cast loop top has a 1-3/8 inch inside diameter and accepts snaphooks, carabiners, and SAS HLL end anchor components.
Fits standard Z-purlins
Standard models fit a maximum top flange width of 3-3/4 inches with a minimum purlin web depth of 6 inches. The leg inside dimension is 4 inches and the nominal leg width is 6 inches.
Foam-filled galvanized riser
Polyurethane foam filling, a stainless threaded vent hole plug, and an ASTM 123 hot-dip galvanized finish protect the Schedule 40 riser, rated for -30 to +130 degrees F.
Parallel loop top for HLL layouts
The A orientation sets the loop top parallel with the ridge. Super Anchor offers A and B orientations so the loop lines up with the direction of the horizontal lifeline.
Stock part with bolt pack
The 1126-6A is the stock model in the CRZ family and ships with the stainless steel attachment bolts and lock nuts, plus a PID specification label on the riser.
The purlin is the anchorage, so the structure must be approved first. The supporting structure must hold 5,000 lb or 2 times the intended fall protection load, and anchor locations are specified by the project architect, engineer, or a qualified person. Use only the factory-supplied stainless steel attachment bolts and lock nuts. Wood purlin blocking and Master Flash are not supplied with the anchor, and the maximum on-site proof load is 2,500 lb. Never attach two connectors to one loop top.

Typical Applications
How to Use
The full procedure with figures is in the CRZ Z-Purlin Anchor Installation Guide linked below. The essentials:
- Confirm the structure. The project architect, engineer, or a qualified person approves the purlin and the anchor location for the intended fall protection load.
- Attach to the top flange. Set the anchor over the purlin and attach it to the purlin top flange with the 3/8 x 1-1/4 inch stainless steel bolt and lock nut.
- Insert the blocking. Place the No. 2049 pre-drilled wood block between the anchor legs and align it with the factory pre-drilled holes; re-drill if the holes do not line up.
- Secure the blocking. Fasten the block to the B-side leg with two 1-1/2 inch WS screws. If the block does not fit tightly against the purlin web, install backer material to fill the margin.
- Drill the purlin. Drill 3/8 inch attachment bolt holes through the purlin, using the A-side leg bolt holes as a template.
- Bolt through. Insert the 3/8 x 5 inch stainless steel bolts through the legs, purlin, and blocking, and secure them with the lock nuts.
- Flash the riser. Seal the roof penetration with the No. 2050 Master Flash 10 x 10 inch EPDM boot, and secure the collar with a stainless steel hose clamp.
- Inspect before use. A qualified or competent person inspects and certifies the installation before anyone connects to the loop top.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect the anchor before installation and before each use, and keep documented annual inspections as part of the building owner's fall protection maintenance plan. Remove the anchor from service when any of the following conditions apply:
- The riser or legs are bent or deformed.
- Weld cracks are present.
- Rust does not clean up with a cold zinc coating.
- Attachment bolts or lock nuts are missing or loose; do not use the anchor until the installation is corrected.
- The PID label or vent hole plug is missing and cannot be replaced.
- The anchor was subjected to a free fall, or the supporting purlin or structure is damaged.
Tag any anchor removed from service to prevent further use until a qualified or competent person inspects it. Window washing anchors require annual inspection by a qualified person and recertification at least every 10 years by a registered professional engineer.

Super Anchor Safety Manufacturer Warranty
Super Anchor Safety (SAS) warrants to the purchaser that all products are free from defect in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. This warranty is limited to product replacement for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation or use by the owner, provided that this period shall not exceed two (2) years from the date of shipment. This warranty only covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover conditions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, or accident. This product warranty does not cover oxidation of zinc, dacromet, or powder coatings used on permanent and temporary anchors that results from connector abrasion unless the coating can be shown to be defective at the time of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable. Any unused defective product will be replaced at no charge by returning the product to Super Anchor Safety or to the distributor the product was purchased from.
Permanent Anchor Warranty
Super Anchor Safety warrants to the purchaser that all anchors sold as a permanent fixture with Hot Dip Galvanizing, Stainless Steel, and Thermo-Plastic finishes are fully warranted against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of initial installation. SAS does not warranty the installation or flashing system used to waterproof the anchors. The SAS factory warranty is void if the product has been modified or has not been used in accordance with SAS specifications and instructions for that product. Anchors that have been removed from service due to re-roofing or remodel of the structure they were originally attached to must be inspected by an SAS factory representative or a competent person before being reinstalled.
