FallTech 7445 Strut Anchor
The FallTech 7445 Strut Anchor mounts into strut channel (framing channel) to create a tie-off point along a strut run. It slides into the channel and locks in place, giving a fast anchor for mechanical, electrical, and industrial work built on strut.
It is certified to ANSI Z359.18-2017, rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN), for one worker up to 310 lb. Sold in multi-packs.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a strut anchor, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system for work on strut channel. Trades mount it into a strut run for a tie-off point, then connect an SRL or lanyard. It repositions along the channel. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device.
Features
Strut-channel mount
Slides into framing channel and locks for a fast anchor point.
Repositionable
Move it along the strut run as the work moves.
For strut-built systems
Ideal for mechanical, electrical, and industrial strut installations.
Strong connection
A durable tie-off point for an SRL or lanyard.
Durable steel
Built for repeated jobsite use.
ANSI Z359.18-2017
Certified anchorage rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN).
Install into sound, rated strut per the manual. Confirm the strut channel and its supports are rated to hold a fall-arrest load, seat the anchor fully, and lock it in place. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the Fall Protection Calculator below.

Typical Applications
How to Install
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the anchor body, connection point, and hardware for damage before each use.
- Prepare the structure. Confirm the mounting surface is sound and rated to support the anchor per the manual.
- Install and secure. Mount the anchor as specified and set all fasteners to the required torque.
- Connect. Attach your SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the connection point.
- Check clearance. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the calculator below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Anchor body and welds: cracks, bending, deformation, or corrosion.
- D-ring or connection point: deformation, sharp edges, cracks, or corrosion.
- Fasteners and hardware: damaged threads, loose or missing fasteners.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
