FallTech 7495A Rail Anchor
The FallTech 7495A Rail Anchor clamps to a structural rail or flange to create a tie-off point without drilling or welding. It is a fast, reusable anchor for beams, rails, and similar flanged structures.
It is certified to ANSI Z359.1-2007, rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN), for one worker up to 310 lb, for structural rail and flange work.

Who Needs This Product
This product is a rail anchor, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system. Crews clamp it to a structural rail or flange to create a tie-off point without modifying the structure, then connect an SRL or lanyard. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device.
Features
Clamp-on install
Attaches to a rail or flange without drilling or welding.
Reusable
Clamp it on, use it, and move it to the next location.
Fits structural rails
Designed for beams, rails, and flanged structures per the manual.
Strong connection
A durable tie-off point for an SRL or lanyard.
Durable steel clamp
Built for repeated jobsite use.
ANSI Z359.1-2007
Certified for one worker up to 310 lb.
Clamp to a rated rail or flange within the anchor's range. Confirm the structure is sound and within the clamp's size range, and tighten fully per the manual. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the Fall Protection Calculator below.
Compliance Standards

Typical Applications
How to Install
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the anchor body, connection point, and hardware for damage before each use.
- Prepare the structure. Confirm the mounting surface is sound and rated to support the anchor per the manual.
- Install and secure. Mount the anchor as specified and set all fasteners to the required torque.
- Connect. Attach your SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the connection point.
- Check clearance. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the calculator below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Anchor body and welds: cracks, bending, deformation, or corrosion.
- D-ring or connection point: deformation, sharp edges, cracks, or corrosion.
- Fasteners and hardware: damaged threads, loose or missing fasteners.
- Labels: illegible or missing markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
