Titan ReadyWorker Fall Protection Kit

One SKU, one outfitted worker: the Miller ReadyWorker kit packs a Titan full body harness with back D-ring and tongue leg buckles, a 6 ft tubular shock absorbing lanyard, and a waterproof storage bucket that keeps the gear clean between jobs. Universal harness sizing fits the majority of workers straight out of the bucket.

For contractors who need compliant fall arrest on a new hire, a visitor, or a one-off task, the kit answers the whole question at once: body wear, connecting device, and storage, ready to hand across the tailgate.

Who Needs This Product

Kits solve a purchasing problem more than an equipment problem: a small contractor or a super with a new sub on site needs a worker compliant in one order, not a three-SKU shopping trip. The ReadyWorker covers the harness and lanyard halves of the ABC (anchor, body wear, connector) and the bucket keeps the kit together in the truck. Add a compliant anchor for the task and the system is complete.

Features

Titan Full Body Harness

Back D-ring, back strap with pull-free lanyard rings, tongue leg buckles, and universal sizing.

6 ft Tubular Shock Lanyard

The tubular shock absorbing lanyard limits arrest forces on anchor points at or above the D-ring.

Waterproof Bucket

The sealing bucket stores the kit clean and dry between jobs and doubles as the site kit marker.

Pull-Free Lanyard Rings

Parking rings on the back strap stow the lanyard leg without loading the fall arrest system.

One-Order Compliance

Body wear plus connector in one SKU; add a task-appropriate anchor to complete the system.

Universal Sizing

The Universal harness fits the majority of workers without a sizing conversation.

The kit is two-thirds of a system. Fall arrest needs an anchor, body wear, and a connector. The ReadyWorker covers body wear and connector; anchor to a point rated for fall arrest and verify clearance below the work level for the 6 ft lanyard plus deceleration distance.

Compliance Standards

OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.140

Meets OSHA requirements for personal fall arrest system body wear in both construction and general industry.

ANSI Z359.11

Certified to the ANSI/ASSE Z359.11 standard for full body harnesses, covering design, testing, and marking requirements.

Complete System Requirement

OSHA 1926.502 requires a complete personal fall arrest system; pair the kit with a compliant anchorage for the task.

Typical Applications

Outfitting new hires and short-term workers in one order.
Small contractors building their first compliant fall protection program.
Visitor and inspector gear kept staged at the site trailer.
Truck kits for service crews with occasional at-height tasks.
Roofing work when paired with a compliant anchor.
Backup gear that stays dry in the bucket until needed.

Setup Overview

  1. Open the bucket and inspect the harness and lanyard before first use.
  2. Don the Titan harness and adjust all points, dorsal D-ring between the shoulder blades.
  3. Anchor the lanyard to a point rated for fall arrest at or above the D-ring where possible.
  4. Connect the lanyard snap hook to the dorsal D-ring and verify both gates lock.
  5. Verify fall clearance below the work level, then return gear to the bucket after the shift.

Component instructions ship in the kit; the harness manual is also linked below.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect this harness before each use, and have a competent person other than the user formally inspect it at least annually per ANSI Z359.2. Check each point below and record the results on the inspection form linked in the documentation section.

  • Webbing: cuts, frays, burns, chemical damage, UV fading, or broken stitching anywhere on the harness.
  • Hardware: D-rings and buckles for cracks, corrosion, distortion, or sharp edges.
  • Adjusters and keepers: slippage, missing keepers, or strap ends that will not stay stowed.
  • Labels: present and legible, including the size, standards, and serial information.

Retirement triggers: any fall arrest event, any webbing or hardware defect found during inspection, or any condition where the inspector cannot positively verify the harness is fit for service.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in the ReadyWorker kit?
A Titan full body harness with back D-ring and tongue leg buckles in universal sizing, a 6 ft tubular shock absorbing lanyard, and a waterproof storage bucket.
Is the kit a complete fall arrest system?
Almost. It covers body wear and the connecting device; you still need an anchorage rated for fall arrest that suits the task. That is the same for every harness-and-lanyard kit on the market.
How much fall clearance does the lanyard need?
A 6 ft shock absorbing lanyard typically needs 17 to 18 ft of clearance below the anchor once free fall, deceleration, harness stretch, and safety margin are added. Use our fall protection calculator to run your exact numbers.
What size is the harness?
Universal, which fits the majority of workers. Workers outside the universal range should be fitted with a sized harness from the Titan II or H500 lines instead.
Who is the kit for?
Contractors who need a worker compliant in one order: new hires, subs, visitors, and service crews with occasional at-height work. Full-time at-height trades usually spec their harness and connector separately.
Why the bucket?
Fall protection that lives loose in a truck bed dies young. The waterproof bucket keeps the harness and lanyard clean, dry, and together, and makes the kit easy to spot-check at the trailer.
How often does the kit need inspection?
Inspect harness and lanyard before each use, and have a competent person inspect them at least annually per ANSI Z359.2. Retire any component after a fall arrest event.
