Xenon Permanent Horizontal Lifeline Kit, Stainless Steel

The Xenon is the permanent horizontal that contractors install themselves: patented stainless steel components, straight-line kits with no certified installer requirement, and pass-through intermediate brackets the shuttle glides across without unclipping. The 60 ft kit covers a standard span; the shuttle (Xenon 1005709) is sold separately.

The 4-in-1 shock absorber serves as absorber, turnbuckle, tension indicator, and fall indicator, with a pop-out visual alert if the system has ever been loaded.

Who Needs This Product

Permanent HLLs turn recurring long-edge exposure into infrastructure: crane rail runways, loading docks, conveyors, rooftops, and pipe racks where the same traverse happens daily. The Xenon's fixed pass-through design has no moving gate parts to foul, which is why it thrives in dusty and corrosive plants, and the DIY installation removes the certified-installer line from the budget.

Features

Contractor DIY Installation

Straight-line kits install per the manual without a certified installer.

Pass-Through Intermediates

The shuttle glides across intermediate brackets without disconnecting: true hands-free traverse.

4-in-1 Absorber

Shock absorber, turnbuckle, tension indicator, and fall indicator in one component.

Pop-Out Load Alert

A visual indicator deploys if the system has taken an impact, flagging inspection.

Stainless Steel Longevity

Patented components built for outdoor and corrosive service with minimal upkeep.

Compact End Design

Shortened bracket distances improve safety at system entry and exit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a certified installer?
No: Xenon straight-line kits are designed for contractor and customer installation per the manual. Configurations beyond straight lines involve a qualified person.
What is the shuttle and why is it separate?
The shuttle is the traveler that rides the cable and passes through intermediate brackets automatically. Sites buy one per worker, so Miller sells it separately (Xenon 1005709); contact us to add shuttles to the order.
Where do Xenon systems go?
Crane rail runways, loading bays, conveyors, rooftops, pipe racks, bridges: anywhere workers traverse the same span repeatedly.
What does the 4-in-1 absorber do?
It absorbs arrest energy, tensions the line as a turnbuckle, shows correct tension, and pops a visual indicator if the system has ever been loaded.
What spans are available?
Kits run 30 to 510 ft in the vendor line; the 60 ft ships from stock. Contact us for other spans.
Why fixed pass-through components?
No spring gates or moving parts at the brackets means nothing to foul in dusty or corrosive environments.
How often does it need inspection?
Per the manual schedule: visual checks before use, documented inspections annually, and immediately if the pop-out indicator shows.
