Super Anchor WS TrussBar Temporary Anchor for Attic and Truss Overhangs
The Super Anchor WS TrussBar is a certified anchorage device for painters and other trades working on the exterior of homes and multifamily buildings. This exclusive design installs inverted on the truss overhangs with 10 each 2.0 inch WS series wood screws that are supplied with the anchor. It adjusts for trusses centered 12, 16, and 24 inches on center with a minimum 2x4 top chord.
The trusses must be fully sheathed with bird blocking in place and fascia board installed, but exterior wall sheathing is not required. Attach the anchor, connect a vertical lifeline or self-retracting lifeline, and go to work. It is lightweight aluminum at 6.5 pounds, provides a single person tie-off, and can also serve as a permanent attic access anchor for confined space work.
