The FallTech Cable Pass-Through Sling Anchor is a galvanized steel wire-rope anchor that wraps a rated structure and passes through itself to cinch on. The steel cable resists cuts and abrasion better than webbing, making it a strong choice near rough or hot structures.
It is built from galvanized steel wire rope with a pass-through thimble, rated for 5,000 lb (22.2 kN) and certified to ANSI Z359.18-2017. Choose from lengths of 3', 4', 6', 8', 10' to fit the member.

This product is a cable pass-through sling anchor, the anchorage component of a personal fall arrest system. Crews working near rough, hot, or abrasive structures wrap it around a rated member and cinch it on, then connect an SRL or lanyard. You still need a certified full-body harness and a compatible connecting device to complete the system.

Typical Applications
How to Install
Follow the FallTech instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect. Check the webbing, stitching, and hardware for damage before each use.
- Choose a rated anchor point. Confirm the structure supports at least 5,000 lb and is free of sharp or abrasive edges.
- Wrap the structure. Pass the anchor around the beam, column, or member in the approved configuration.
- Connect. Attach your SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the anchor connection point.
- Check clearance. Confirm fall clearance and swing-fall with the calculator below.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least annually. Remove the anchor from service for any of the conditions below.
- Wire rope: kinks, birdcaging, broken wires, corrosion, or crushing.
- Swages and thimbles: cracks, slippage, or deformation.
- Hardware (carabiner, hook, D-ring, or O-ring): deformation, corrosion, or a gate that will not lock.
- Coating (if present) and labels: heavy damage, or illegible markings.
Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event, and destroy retired equipment so it cannot return to service.
