Frequently Asked Questions

How does a drop-through anchor install?
You drop it through a deck or roof opening and it seats behind the structure, so the whole install is done from below, with the cable hanging to a working-height connection.
What cable lengths are available?
2 ft (74942), 6 ft (74946), and 8.5 ft (749485); choose based on your ceiling or deck height.
What is the rated strength and capacity?
Certified to ANSI Z359.18-2017 with 5,000 lb (22.2 kN) strength, for one worker up to 310 lb (ANSI) or 425 lb (OSHA).
Is it reusable?
Yes. Remove and reuse the anchor per the manual once the work is complete.
Why is it sold in multi-packs?
Suspended anchors are used in quantity on overhead deck work, so they ship in contractor multi-packs.
What do I connect to it?
Connect a compatible SRL or energy-absorbing lanyard to the connection point, used with a certified full-body harness.
Can it be reused after a fall?
No. Remove the anchor from service immediately after any fall-arrest event and destroy it so it cannot be reused.
