Who Needs This Product

Canadian jobsites and CSA-governed contracts need anchorage connectors with CSA paperwork, not just ANSI. The C7372 is the CSA-certified twin of the FallTech 7372: the same 6 ft pass-through choker with a heavy-duty wear pad, listed by part number on FallTech CSA DoC #AC0620001c to CSA Z259.15-2017. Sold as a 2-pack so both ends of a crew are covered.

Features

Pass-through choke-on install

Appropriately sized alloy steel D-rings let the strap choke onto beams, columns, and other structure in seconds.

Heavy-duty wear pad

A 3 in wide full-length wear pad protects the 1-3/4 in load-bearing web from abrasion.

Shorten as needed

The strap may be passed through multiple times to shorten the effective length.

Dual connection points

The smaller D-ring provides the connection point for SRLs and lanyards.

Reinforced terminations

Each D-ring termination features three individual 2 in box-stitches for longer life.

CSA and ANSI paperwork

Listed on CSA DoC #AC0620001c (CSA Z259.15-2017) and ANSI DoC #A0118004d (ANSI Z359.18-2017).

Choke on structure, not on edges. Wrap the anchor around structural members of suitable strength, keep the web clear of sharp or abrasive edges, and never connect the lanyard directly to the web. The anchorage must support 5,000 lb per worker or be part of an engineered system.

Compliance Standards

CSA Z259.15-2017

Canadian anchorage connector standard; the C7372 is listed by part number on FallTech CSA DoC #AC0620001c.

ANSI Z359.18-2017

United States anchorage connector standard; the C7372 also appears on FallTech DoC #A0118004d.

OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.66

United States fall protection criteria for personal fall arrest system anchorages.

US Version Available

How to Use

Follow the FallTech MANC03 instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.

  1. Select the member. A competent person verifies the structure can take 5,000 lb per attached worker or is part of an engineered system.
  2. Wrap and pass through. Wrap the strap around the member and pass the small D-ring through the large D-ring; pass through again to shorten.
  3. Seat the wear pad. Position the pad where the web bears on the structure.
  4. Connect the system. Snap the lanyard or SRL hook onto the small D-ring only.
  5. Inspect before each use. Web, stitching, wear pad, and both D-rings.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect before each use, with a documented competent person inspection at least annually.

  • Webbing: cuts, burns, fraying, UV chalking, and chemical damage.
  • Wear pad: in place and covering the bearing surface.
  • Stitching: all three 2 in box-stitches intact at each termination.
  • D-rings: no deformation, cracks, nicks, or corrosion.
  • Labels: legible with serial and date recorded in the inspection log.

Retirement triggers: any fall arrest event, damaged web or stitching, deformed hardware, or a failed inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the C7372 and the 7372?
They are the same 6 ft pass-through choker anchor design; the C7372 carries the CSA-specific part number and labeling, and it is listed on FallTech CSA DoC #AC0620001c to CSA Z259.15-2017. The US 7372 family page is linked below.
Is it also legal on US jobsites?
Yes. The C7372 appears on FallTech ANSI DoC #A0118004d to ANSI Z359.18-2017 and meets OSHA 1926.502, so it works on both sides of the border.
How does the pass-through install work?
Wrap the strap around a structural member, then pass the small D-ring through the large D-ring and pull snug. The strap may be passed through multiple times to shorten the working length.
What connects to which D-ring?
The system connector (lanyard snap hook or SRL) attaches to the smaller D-ring only. The large D-ring is the pass-through element and never receives the hook directly against the web.
Why is it sold as a 2-pack?
Anchor straps are consumable rigging that crews position and leave in place as work progresses. The 2-pack matches how the US 7372 family is sold and keeps the line item above freight-friendly order minimums.
What capacity is it rated for?
136 to 310 lb per FallTech CSA and ANSI product data, and 130 to 425 lb under OSHA. It is a single-worker anchorage connector with 5,000 lb minimum static strength.
How quickly does the C7372 2-pack ship?
Usually ships in 1 business day from our warehouse. Delivery time is based on the delivery location.
