PUS34-US Patriot Pulley for Tripods, Made in USA
The Frontline PUS34-US is a Patriot pulley for confined space tripods, made in the USA: it mounts at the tripod head and turns a winch or retrieval line down into the opening so the cable runs cleanly and at the right angle to the worker.
A small but essential part of the confined space rigging, it pairs with the Frontline MEGApod tripods and the RAW50-US winch to complete the lifting path. Made in the USA as part of the Patriot line, conforming to OSHA 1910.146 and ANSI Z359 within the retrieval system.

- Set up per the manual. Install and rig exactly as the Frontline manual specifies.
- Rig the system. Run the retrieval and/or fall arrest lines through the correct points.
- Connect the worker. Attach the harness per the rescue plan.
- Function-test. Test retrieval and confirm the plan with the attendant before entry.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before each use, with a documented competent-person inspection at least every 6 months. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.
- Visual: deformation, cracks, corrosion, or damaged welds on load-bearing parts.
- Moving parts: pulleys, swivels, winch drum, and locks operate freely and lock positively.
- Line/cable: no broken wires, kinks, fraying, or corrosion; spools cleanly.
- Connectors and fasteners: present, correct, and fully engaged per the manual.
