Frontline ToolGrip Tool Tethering

TP10 ToolGrip 10 lbs Tool Pouch with D-Rings and Zipper, 3-Pack

The Frontline TP10 is the containment-grade pouch: a double-zipper closure keeps tools securely contained even if the pouch flips, interior metal D-rings give tethers a home, and exterior loops hold spud wrenches, bull pins, and screwdrivers at the ready.

Built from high-quality polyester with airflow ventilation to reduce moisture buildup, it attaches easily to work belts, measures 12 in L x 4 in W x 12 in H, and carries a 10 lb safe working capacity - protecting workers below by keeping tools from falling in the first place.

Who Needs This Product

This product is dropped-object prevention equipment from the Frontline ToolGrip line. Crews working at height tether their tools so a slip never becomes a struck-by incident below. ToolGrip products are rated for tools only - personal fall protection is a separate system.

Features

Full containment

The double-zipper closure means a flipped pouch is not a rain of tools.

Interior D-rings

Tether small tools inside the pouch - covered even while stowed.

Exterior tool loops

Spud wrenches, bull pins, and screwdrivers ride outside, instantly reachable.

Ventilated

Airflow reduces moisture so tools stay rust-free.

Tough build

Engineered for durability on tough jobsites.

10 lb capacity

A full working loadout, contained and tethered.

Compliance Standards

ANSI/ISEA 121-2018

American National Standard for dropped object prevention solutions - the consensus standard for tool tethering equipment.

OSHA 1926.759

Falling object protection requirements in steel erection; tethering supports compliance.

OSHA General Duty Clause

Dropped-tool struck-by incidents are routinely cited under 5(a)(1); tethering is the recognized control.

How to Set Up the TP10

Follow the manufacturer's manual. The sequence below is an overview only.

  1. Inspect. Check fabric, zippers, D-rings, and loops before each use.
  2. Mount. Attach the pouch to your work belt where it rides clean.
  3. Tether inside. Clip small-tool tethers to the interior D-rings.
  4. Load the loops. Seat wrenches and pins in the exterior loops.
  5. Zip before you move. Close the double zipper whenever you relocate at height.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect before each use. Pull the equipment from service for any of the conditions below.

  • Webbing and elastic: cuts, fraying, abrasion, burns, or loss of elasticity.
  • Stitching: broken, pulled, or abraded threads.
  • Hardware: deformation, cracks, corrosion, or gates and locks that fail to close.
  • Attachment points: loose tape bonds, worn loops, or damaged D-rings.
  • Markings: labels must be present and legible.

Remove from service immediately if any inspection point fails or after the tether arrests a dropped tool with visible damage. ToolGrip products are tool tethering equipment - never use them for personal fall protection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why a zippered pouch?
Open pouches spill when they flip - and at height, a spill is a struck-by incident. The double zipper contains everything during movement.
What are the D-rings for?
Tethering tools inside the pouch, so even stowed tools are connected.
What fits in the exterior loops?
Spud wrenches, bull pins, screwdrivers, and similar long tools.
What is the capacity?
10 lb (4.5 kg) safe working capacity in a 12 x 4 x 12 in envelope.
Is tool tethering required by OSHA?
OSHA 1926.759 requires protection from falling objects in steel erection, and General Duty Clause citations for dropped tools are common. ANSI/ISEA 121-2018 is the voluntary consensus standard for dropped object prevention - tethering tools at height is rapidly becoming a site requirement on major projects.
TP10 or BP10L?
The TP10 adds D-rings, slots, and the zipper for full containment; the BP10L is the larger open-top pouch for speed.
