Reflective Cyclone Harness, Black and Orange, Quick-Connect Chest

The reflective Cyclone wraps the premium platform in visibility: black and orange webbing with reflective striping that reads in headlights, dusk, and plant lighting, over the quick-connect chest and tongue-buckle legs of the standard line. Stocked in four sizes, S through XXL.

Certified to ANSI Z359.11 and compliant with OSHA 1910.140 and 1926.502 at the capacities in the manual.

Who Needs This Product

Night paving, rail windows, and traffic-adjacent work put visibility requirements on everything the worker wears, and a harness crossing over a vest breaks the vest pattern. The reflective Cyclone carries its own striping so the harness adds visibility instead of hiding it, on the same padded platform structural crews already run days.

Features

Enhanced comfort and mobility

Lightweight, breathable shoulder padding provides all-day comfort and support without added bulk

High Visibility Performance

Integrated reflective webbing provides greater wearer visibility in low-light environments and conditions.

Integrated stowage for snag-free work

Dual auto-resetting lanyard keepers safely store unused connector legs when not in use

Quick, secure fit and adjustment

Quick-connect chest and tongue buckle leg straps enable easy donning and removal, while a spring-loaded torso adjustment provides a fast, tailored fit

Trusted safety performance

Full body harness with 5 points of adjustment designed to meet OSHA and ANSI Z359.11 standards

Fit before the first step up. Adjust the harness so the dorsal D-ring sits between the shoulder blades, the chest strap crosses mid-chest, and leg straps allow a flat hand but not a fist. Retire any harness that has arrested a fall.

Donning Overview

Donning must follow the Guardian instruction manual for this harness. The sequence below is an overview only.

  1. Inspect first. Check webbing, stitching, D-rings, and buckles before every use.
  2. Shake out and orient. Hold by the dorsal D-ring; straps fall into place without twists.
  3. Arms through. Put the harness on like a jacket, shoulder straps over both shoulders.
  4. Buckle the chest. Connect the chest buckle at mid-chest height.
  5. Buckle the legs. Connect each leg strap; snug so a flat hand fits but a fist does not.
  6. Adjust and check. Set all adjustment points and confirm the dorsal D-ring sits between the shoulder blades.

Inspection and Retirement

Inspect before every use, and have a competent person perform a documented inspection at least every six months under ANSI Z359.2 practice. Remove the harness from service for any of the conditions below.

  • Webbing: cuts, fraying, abrasion, burns, or chemical damage.
  • Stitching: broken, pulled, or abraded threads at load-bearing junctions.
  • Hardware: cracks, corrosion, or deformation of D-rings and buckles.
  • Impact indicators: any deployment (models so equipped).
  • Labels: missing or illegible.

Retirement triggers: any fall arrest event, a deployed impact indicator, or any condition where the inspector cannot positively verify the harness is fit for service.
