SRL Harness Connector, Dual Lock Steel, 2-Pack
The Guardian 11058 mounts a personal SRL to the harness: a dual-locking zinc-plated steel connector in high-visibility yellow that joins the SRL housing to the dorsal D-ring or SRL loop, keeping the retractable riding correctly on the worker's back.
Used per the SRL and harness manuals within systems compliant with OSHA 1926.502 and 1910.140. Sold as a 2-pack.
Who Needs This Product
Personal SRLs need a proper interface to the harness, and improvised links are exactly what the dual-lock connector replaces: two deliberate actions to open, rated geometry for housing-to-D-ring loads, and yellow visibility for the pre-use check. Series 3 harnesses pair it with the built-in SRL loop.

Class rating decides the anchor location. Class 1 SRLs anchor at or above the dorsal D-ring only; Class 2 SRLs are additionally rated for at-foot anchorage and leading edge exposure per ANSI Z359.14-2021. Check the fall clearance chart on the device label for your anchor height before work begins.

Typical Applications
Use Overview
Use must follow the Guardian SRL instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Inspect first. Check the housing, lifeline, load indicator, and hooks before every use.
- Test retraction. Pull the line and let it retract under control; confirm smooth payout and positive lock when jerked sharply.
- Anchor per class. Class 1 devices anchor at or above the dorsal D-ring; Class 2 devices may anchor at foot level per the manual.
- Connect the worker. Attach the lifeline hook to the harness per the manual and confirm the gate locks.
- Check clearance. Verify fall clearance using the chart on the label for your anchor height.
- Work in line. Stay in line with the anchor to minimize swing fall exposure.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before every use, and have a competent person perform a documented inspection at least every six months under ANSI Z359.2 practice. Remove the SRL from service for any of the conditions below.
- Lifeline: cuts, fraying, kinks, broken wires, or contamination along the full working length.
- Retraction: hesitation, slack line, or failure to lock under a sharp pull.
- Load indicator: any deployment showing.
- Housing and swivel: cracks, deformation, corrosion, or binding.
- Hooks: cracks, deformation, or gates that do not close and lock automatically.
Retirement triggers: any fall arrest event, a showing load indicator, retraction or locking failure, or any condition where the inspector cannot positively verify the device is fit for service.
