Ultra-Thin Cut Level A2 Work Gloves
The Malta Dynamics Ultra-Thin Cut Level A2 Work Gloves pair lightweight comfort with reliable protection for high-precision tasks. A fine 18-gauge knit shell carries an ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A2 rating, while a durable nitrile palm coating delivers a strong, slip-resistant grip on dry and lightly oily surfaces and keeps the glove flexible for detailed work.
The thin, breathable build keeps hands cool and reduces fatigue over long shifts, and touchscreen-compatible fingertips let a worker run a device without removing a glove. Sold in a 24-pair pack or a 144-pair case, in Medium, Large, and X-Large, so you can outfit one crew or a whole jobsite. Meets ANSI/ISEA 105 at Cut Level A2.

Who Needs This Product
The Ultra-Thin A2 glove is built for crews who need fine-touch dexterity with everyday cut and abrasion protection. The 18-gauge shell is the thinnest in the Malta Dynamics glove line, so it suits detailed assembly, mechanical and maintenance work, light material handling, and any task where feel matters and cut hazards are moderate. The nitrile palm grips small parts and tools without bulk, and the breathable build keeps hands cool. These gloves are personal protective equipment for the hands and are not part of a fall protection system.

Cut resistance is not cut proof. ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A2 reduces the risk of cuts from light edges but does not eliminate it, and it is a lower tier than the A4 and A5 gloves. Match the cut level to the task, inspect each glove before use, and retire any glove with cuts, holes, worn coating, or exposed shell yarn. These gloves are hand protection only and are not rated for fall protection, electrical, chemical, or heat hazards.
Compliance Standards
ANSI/ISEA 105 Cut Level A2
American National Standard for hand protection classification, cut resistance tier A2 on the A1 to A9 scale.
ANSI/ISEA 105 Abrasion Level 5
Classified at abrasion resistance Level 5 under the same hand protection standard.
ANSI/ISEA 105 Puncture Level 2
Classified at puncture resistance Level 2 under the same hand protection standard.
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138
OSHA hand protection rule requiring appropriate gloves where workers face cut, laceration, or abrasion hazards.
Typical Applications
Sizing, Use, and Care
Choose a snug fit so the glove moves with the hand without bunching at the palm. Measure around the dominant hand at the knuckles, just below the fingers, to pick a size.
- Medium suits hand circumferences near 8 inches, Large near 9 inches, and X-Large near 10 inches; size up if you are between sizes.
- Inspect each glove before use for cuts, holes, worn or peeling palm coating, and exposed or frayed shell yarn.
- Retire any glove that has been cut through, has lost coating coverage, or no longer fits snugly, since worn gloves no longer deliver the rated cut protection.
- Keep gloves clean and dry between uses; follow the care guidance on the packaging, and do not modify the gloves.
- These gloves protect against cut, abrasion, and puncture only, and are not rated for fall protection, heat, electrical, or chemical exposure.
