Cut Level A5 Work Gloves
The Malta Dynamics Cut Level A5 Work Gloves deliver the highest everyday cut resistance on the ANSI/ISEA scale with the dexterity a crew needs for handling sheet metal, glass, blades, and sharp stock. A 13-gauge cut-resistant knit shell pairs with a non-slip polyurethane palm coating for a confident grip on tools and materials, while the lightweight, breathable build keeps hands cool through a full shift.
Touchscreen-compatible fingertips let workers run a phone or tablet without pulling a glove. Sold in a 24-pair pack and a 144-pair case, in Medium, Large, and X-Large, so you can outfit one crew or a whole jobsite. These gloves meet ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 at Cut Level A5.

Who Needs This Product
The A5 glove is built for crews who handle the sharpest materials on the jobsite. Cut Level A5 is the top tier of cut protection in everyday work-glove use, so it suits metal fabrication, glass and glazing, HVAC sheet-metal work, demolition, and any task where blades or sharp edges are constant. The 13-gauge knit and breathable build keep the glove thin enough for tool work while the polyurethane palm holds grip in dry and lightly oily conditions. These gloves are personal protective equipment for the hands and are not part of a fall protection system.

Cut resistance is not cut proof. ANSI/ISEA Cut Level A5 reduces the risk of cuts from blades and edges but does not eliminate it. Match the cut level to the task, inspect each glove before use, and retire any glove with cuts, holes, worn coating, or exposed shell yarn. These gloves are hand protection only and are not rated for fall protection, electrical, chemical, or heat hazards.
Compliance Standards
ANSI/ISEA 105-2016 Cut Level A5
American National Standard for hand protection classification, cut resistance tier A5 on the A1 to A9 scale.
ANSI/ISEA 105 Abrasion Level 3
Classified at abrasion resistance Level 3 under the same hand protection standard.
ANSI/ISEA 105 Puncture Level 3
Classified at puncture resistance Level 3 under the same hand protection standard.
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.138
OSHA hand protection rule requiring appropriate gloves where workers face cut, laceration, or abrasion hazards.
Typical Applications
Sizing, Use, and Care
Choose a snug fit so the glove moves with the hand without bunching at the palm. Measure around the dominant hand at the knuckles, just below the fingers, to pick a size.
- Medium suits hand circumferences near 8 inches, Large near 9 inches, and X-Large near 10 inches; size up if you are between sizes or layering a liner.
- Inspect each glove before use for cuts, holes, worn or peeling palm coating, and exposed or frayed shell yarn.
- Retire any glove that has been cut through, has lost coating coverage, or no longer fits snugly, since worn gloves no longer deliver the rated cut protection.
- Keep gloves clean and dry between uses; follow the care guidance on the packaging, and do not modify the gloves.
- These gloves protect only against cuts, abrasions, and punctures and are not rated for fall protection, heat, electrical, or chemical exposure.
