4021-50V 50 ft Value Lifeline + ValueGrab Combo
The Super Anchor 4021-50V pairs the 50 ft 4020 Value Lifeline with the 4015-V ValueGrab prussic rope grab in one retail box. The 5/8 inch 3-strand polyester rope carries a 9,900 lb minimum tensile strength with a professionally swaged 3,600 lb gate strength snaphook on the A-end, and the ValueGrab arrives on the rope with its own factory swaged Z359 snaphook, ready to clip to your energy absorber.
What is included: one 50 ft Value Lifeline with swaged snaphook and one 4015-V ValueGrab rope grab with swaged snaphook. Add a full body harness and personal energy absorber and the vertical lifeline system is complete. Rated for one worker at 310 lb with a 6 ft maximum free fall, compliant with OSHA 1926.502 and ANSI Z359.1.

Who Needs This Product
Roofers and contractors who want the lifeline and rope grab matched, boxed, and ready to rig. The 50 ft length covers most residential and light commercial slopes, and the ValueGrab is already on the rope with the correct wrap count, which removes the most common rigging mistakes on mixed-brand systems. Both connectors are factory swaged class 1 snaphooks, so the only field connections are the anchor and your energy absorber. The combo also supports reverse rigging, with the ValueGrab at the anchorage point and the lifeline end at the harness. One person use including tools at up to 310 lb, as part of a complete personal fall arrest system.
Features
Matched system in one box
Lifeline and rope grab are specified together by Super Anchor, eliminating grab-to-rope compatibility guesswork.
Factory swaged connectors
Both the lifeline A-end and the ValueGrab carry professionally swaged Z359 snaphooks with 3,600 lb gate strength.
Prussic grab advantages
Dual direction locking, 12 inch maximum deceleration, and grip that holds even when the rope is wet or frozen.
Reverse rigging capable
The ValueGrab is one of two SAS grabs rated to rig at the anchorage end, keeping excess rope off the roof.
9,900 lb polyester rope
5/8 inch 3-strand polyester with a maximum elongation of 10 percent at 1,800 lb.
Serialized label system
PID labels with serial numbers and inspection records on the lifeline and the grab.

A personal energy absorber is required. Connect the ValueGrab snaphook to an ANSI or CSA certified energy absorber, never directly to the harness D-ring. Tie the limiter knot below the grab before use, keep the rope away from sharp edges, heat, and chemicals, and never grab the lifeline above the rope grab during a fall.

OSHA 1926.502
Meets federal construction criteria for vertical lifeline personal fall arrest systems.
ANSI Z359.1-07/15-14

Typical Applications
Installation Overview
Rigging figures, lock tests, and the length of fall plan are in the SAS Lifeline Manual 05-2024 and Reverse Rigging Manual linked below. The basics:
- Connect the lifeline snaphook A-end to an OSHA or ANSI compliant anchorage device specified for fall protection use.
- Confirm the ValueGrab has 6 full wraps around the lifeline, adjusted snug.
- Clip the ValueGrab snaphook to your personal energy absorber, and connect the absorber to the harness dorsal D-ring.
- Tie a limiter knot below the working position to gauge free fall length and prevent disengagement at the rope end.
- Adjust position by holding the wraps and pulling the lifeline in the opposite direction; the grab locks under load.
- Perform the lifeline inspection, grab lock test, and snaphook function tests before each use.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before installation and each use, with documented annual inspections. Remove the equipment from service when any of the following apply:
- Rope strands are cut, hocked, abraded, or show heat damage.
- The grab eye thimble is deformed, or either swage is cracked or loose.
- Fewer than 6 wraps are on the grab knot; add wraps as needed before use.
- Either snaphook fails the gate lock, gate open, or gate close function tests.
- PID or inspection labels are missing from the lifeline or grab.
- The system was subjected to a free fall or has exceeded its service life.
Tag equipment removed from service to prevent further use until inspected by a qualified or competent person.
