Non-Penetrating 1207 Plate Anchors
Five SSCA base plates in 3/8" 5052 aluminum spread loads across four seams each. Select the seam spacing option that matches your panels: 12" to 18", 14" to 22", or 18" to 24" on center.
RoofClamp RCT Seam Clamps
Twenty USA-made RCT clamps secure the plates using stainless steel set screws that grip the seam without piercing it, compatible with roughly 95% of standing seam profiles, including vertical, bulb, and snap-lock seams.
Pass-Thru Intermediate Posts
Three No. 1031-PG CRA-PT5 posts carry the cable in No. 1091 pass-thru tops, so a worker traveling the span never unclips. Two No. 1031-W loop top posts terminate the ends.
Engineered Rigging Package
The included 1050-G kit supplies the No. 1058 turnbuckle, No. 1065-AS 304SST spring energy absorber with tension gauge, stainless couplers, O-rings, eye thimbles, and cable clamps.

This is an engineered fall protection system: a qualified person must verify seam clamp compatibility with your specific panel profile and confirm the panel attachment and supporting structure can resist 5,000 lb or 2x the intended load. Workers on the lifeline must wear a personal energy absorber or use an SRL with an internal energy absorbing function. If the system arrests a fall, remove it from service and tag it DO NOT USE until inspected by a qualified or competent person.

Typical Applications
Installation Overview
Overview of the engineered installation sequence; the SSCA manual and CRA HLL Rigging Manual govern, and a qualified person must approve the layout.
- Verify panel profile compatibility with the RCT clamps using the panel matrix, and confirm 24ga minimum panel thickness and structure capacity.
- Lay out 5 plate locations: end anchors at each end of the 120 ft run and intermediates spaced approximately 30 ft on center.
- Clamp each No. 1207 plate to the seams with 4 RCT clamps, torquing the stainless set screws to the RCT specification.
- Bolt the two No. 1031-W loop top end posts and three No. 1031-PG pass-thru intermediate posts to the plates with the supplied stainless hardware.
- Rig the B-end eye thimble to the loop top through the No. 1081-S coupler, then feed the cable through the three pass-thru tops with the No. 5010-SM O-rings on the line.
- Build the A-end field swage and assemble the turnbuckle, No. 1087-SC couplers, and No. 1065-AS spring energy absorber chain to the far loop top.
- Tension the turnbuckle until the absorber gauge shows full deployment, torque all cable clamps to 45 ft-lb, and trim the dead end with a 10.0" tail.
- Document the installation and place the system on an annual inspection schedule.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect before installation and each use, with documented annual inspections. Remove the anchor from service when any of the following apply:
- RCT set screws loose or seam shows slippage marks at any clamp
- Plate anchors shifted, deformed, or with missing attachment bolts
- Spring energy absorber deployed beyond its set-up gauge reading
- Cable shows broken wires, kinks, birdcaging, or corrosion
- Turnbuckle backed off or lock nuts without 1/8" thread penetration
- O-rings, couplers, or thimbles deformed or cracked
- Post loop tops or pass-thru tops bent or corroded
- The system arrested a fall or was struck by falling material
Tag anchors removed from service to prevent further use until inspected by a qualified or competent person.

Super Anchor Safety Manufacturer Warranty
Super Anchor Safety (SAS) warrants to the purchaser that all products are free from defect in material and workmanship at the time of shipment. This warranty is limited to product replacement for a period of one (1) year from the date of installation or use by the owner, provided that this period shall not exceed two (2) years from the date of shipment. This warranty only covers defects in material and workmanship. It does not cover conditions resulting from normal wear, neglect, abuse, or accident. This product warranty does not cover oxidation of zinc, dacromet, or powder coatings used on permanent and temporary anchors that results from connector abrasion unless the coating can be shown to be defective at the time of purchase. This warranty is non-transferable. Any unused defective product will be replaced at no charge by returning the product to Super Anchor Safety or to the distributor the product was purchased from.
Permanent Anchor Warranty
Super Anchor Safety warrants to the purchaser that all anchors sold as a permanent fixture with Hot Dip Galvanizing, Stainless Steel, and Thermo-Plastic finishes are fully warranted against failure due to defects in materials or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of initial installation. SAS does not warranty the installation or flashing system used to waterproof the anchors. The SAS factory warranty is void if the product has been modified or has not been used in accordance with SAS specifications and instructions for that product. Anchors that have been removed from service due to re-roofing or remodel of the structure they were originally attached to must be inspected by an SAS factory representative or a competent person before being reinstalled.
