FallTech 5pc Confined Space Davit System with FT-R SRL-R and Bags
Portable, modular, and fully adjustable davit system with a 60 ft FT-R SRL-R to enable secure entry and retrieval in confined space environments. The adjustable 12 in to 29 in offset arm centers lifelines over access points and features dual pulleys with a secondary 5,000 lb anchor point.
Choose the system with the 60 ft FT-R SRL-R (6050328RB) or add the 60 ft personnel winch for dedicated entry and egress (6050428WRB). Both configurations include the 33 in lower mast extension, device receiver brackets, and storage bags for the devices.
Modular Davit Power with FT-R Retrieval
Lightweight powder-coated aluminum combines with alloy steel for longer life and durability, and the three-piece base with an integral bullseye level allows fast, tool-free height adjustment and stable placement across a broad range of openings. Per the FallTech documentation, rescue static strength is 5,000 lb minimum, entry and egress static strength is 1,800 lb minimum, and rescue capacity is two users at 310 lb each.
The included FT-R Class 1 SRL-R serves as both a self-retracting lifeline and a rapid-activation retrieval device, and the included storage bags keep the devices protected between entries. This configuration adds the FT-R series SRL-R and bags to the proven 5pc davit platform already carried in our store.

A davit system covers the equipment, not the program. OSHA 1910.146 still requires atmospheric testing, an attendant, and a written permit program for permit-required spaces. This system provides the anchor, lifting, and retrieval hardware that program calls for.

Typical Applications
How to Use
Follow the FallTech MCS30 instruction manual. The sequence below is an overview only.
- Set the base and mast. Assemble the three-piece base, level it with the integral bullseye level, and install the mast and 33 in extension.
- Mount the devices. Attach the SRL-R and winch to the device receiver brackets and route the lines over the arm pulleys.
- Connect the entrant. Attach the winch line for entry and egress and keep the SRL-R connected to the dorsal D-ring as fall arrest backup.
Inspection and Retirement
Inspect each component before use following its manual. A competent person must inspect the full system at least annually.
- Arm, mast, and base: bends, cracks, hardware, detent pins, and level.
- SRL-R: housing, lifeline, snap hook, brakes, and retrieval mode.
- Winch: line, hook, crank, and automatic brake function.
- Pulleys and anchor points: free rotation, no deformation or corrosion.
Retirement triggers: an arrested fall, failed inspection, illegible labels, or damage found on any component. Remove the affected component from service immediately.
